Vaccine or not?

Surprise surprise. The people who think the earth is a few thousand years old and that dinosaurs were hanging out with Adam and Eve are also not getting vaxxed.

Oh crap guys, they figured it out. This whole vaccine push from the government is reverse psychology to target them specifically. 🙄

Why are white Protestants broken down into their delineation of Protestantism while blacks are simply grouped as Protestants? Without knowing the totals of each category it’s entirely possible that white Protestants all lumped together would yield a higher vaccination % than blacks and then there’s no boogeyman to parade around mockingjay; or there is but it’s not the boogeyman we want to touch.

So I know that we haven’t seen the actual order yet, but the more I think about this the more confusing it is becoming. If this were truly about the safety of employees, shouldn’t this apply to every business with more than one employee? What makes 99 the magic number?

Secondly, let’s say for example you own a lot of restaurants. Your company employs more than 99 people, but at no time are there 99 employees working at the same location. Yet you have to abide by this rule, while other business, plants, factories, offices etc, who have 95 people working in the same building don’t have to.

Or you work from home. On a computer. No office in the area you live.

That's why this thing won't pass muster in court. Other than record keeping regulations I can't think of a single OSHA reg that only kicks in at a certain employ number. It's like saying chemical companies of less than 100 employees don't have to have eye wash stations.

Many companies that have the ability will convert to 1099 employees instead of W2. That is what I am. On paper it looks like I work for myself. Suck it Joe.

I keep hearing over and over people saying, “why should it matter if I get vaccinated, it doesn’t affect you.”

This is why it does……

Woman had life-saving surgery pushed back because Tennessee's hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients

Phillips said she was frustrated that her neighbors weren't getting vaccinated, leading to a new surge in hospitalizations as the highly transmissible Delta variant spreads — and that those people were getting priority for treatment.

"I'm still so very angry that people who put their feelings before others' well-being get to be first in the hospitals," she wrote.

Interesting. All the “life saving surgeries” my hospital performs doesn’t take 8 months for said surgery to be scheduled.

We are only operating on patients that will not require an overnight stay. It’s not because of actual bed shortage. It’s due to staffing shortage. A lot of the clinical staff that could retire last year during the shutdown decided not to come back. And some are taking travel assignments for more money.
