Every individual inherits risks everyday venturing out of their house. If they choose to step out during a pandemic then they have conveyed to me, by their actions, that they’re willing to accept the risk that comes with Covid. If they’re vaccinated and the vaccine is effective, then again, we are no threat to them. If we’re still an existential threat to them then the vaccine is not as effective as it was billed to be.

He was fully vaccinated, moderna.

Everyone that works, works for someone. First here, and last to leave, every day. Sometimes. I can't say nicely what is stupid about your take on companies.

Hospitals are used for more than just treating COVID....when resources allow.

So you didn't bother to read and understand that there was nothing wrong or stupid about my comment. You just put out a response because you have and issue with me. I simply stated a fact of employment. There was no degradation toward companies in that statement at all.

No vaccine is 100% so yes people not vaccinated and get it are a threat. The vaccine is by all accounts working very well but is not perfect.

umm..... I don't have an issue with you. I believe that saying businesses exist to simply profit off the sweat of its employees is as ignorant is it comes.

Businesses exist for profit period. That profit is made from the hard work of employees.

Except we can all still get it as vaccinated. I gave my simple anecdotal story the other day; my vaxed mother likely caught it from my unvaxed sister (she never tested) while visiting her, pre-symptoms and gave it to my unvaxed dad within 3 days. In our family’s first infection scenario the one person vaccinated caught it and spread it less than a week. Had a co-worker tell me yesterday (mid 60’s) that he’s had 4 completely vaccinated friends in the hospital within the last 3 weeks and 2 have passed away. Sure they’re anecdotal stories but they’re starting to add up and at what point does it not become anecdotal and become statistical? We’ll likely never know because our data and reporting as the most resourceful and wealthiest country have been complete ish.

Heard a John’s Hopkins Dr this morning reference a report that potentially 40-45% of hospitalized Covid patients today are in there for something else but tested positive upon entrance and depending on the hospital it could affect their reporting. I wish I remembered where or who, but he said 2 hospitals have already adjusted their hospitalized Covid numbers down after more investigation.

I may be forced to. If I do, it still won't change the fact that I may have to employ individuals and money will be made off their work.

But as those generating the income for the business, they'll be compensated honorably for the fact it wouldn't exist without them. Right?

See... clever wording. You are talking about "getting" COVID, but the alternative is that there are alternatives being suppressed for "treating" COVID.

Both options need to be made equally available and none should be mandated.
