Look at the stats. The metropolitan counties in Tennessee (Shelby, Davidson, and Hamilton) are doing better than the redneck hollers filled with the freedumb lovers.

The worst counties in Tennessee currently are:

Van Buren
Scott
Cannon
Lawrence
Bledsoe

Hamilton, Davidson and Shelby are in much better shape (in the top ten for lowest percentage of covid cases in Tennessee currently).

Really? We had roughly 20M cases in the 12 months of 2020, we’re at 41M today; so 21M in 8.5 months. One of those timeframes had zero vaccinated individuals, the other has 53% of individuals fully vaccinated and some percentage vaccinated at any point in time 2021. How can one look at those numbers and make the argument that A) we’re better off and B) that it’s the unvaccinated causing it. We were all unvaccinated for 12-13 months yet if the pace continues we’ll wind up with 9M more cases year over year in addition to 20M people from last year having already been exposed and with antibodies. There is likely a very significant % of the unvaxed population who already had it, so you can’t make a broad claim that it’s the unvaxed without knowing that part of the population.

Before you say it’s the more contagious Delta variant that’s to blame explain how they know? The link below from the center to left of center Business Insider says that they’re not actually sequencing the samples because of cost and time. So how can Fauci make the claim that 80% of all new cases are of the Delta variety when that information is not actually being processed and collected?
You aren't legally allowed to know which variant gave you COVID-19 in the US, even if it's Delta

Public records are you friend.
In 2017 the application was withdrawn as there was no active Covid infections and therefore no need for a vaccine. They held on to everything in case another Covid outbreak ever occurred.

If you think they could produce a vaccine in 8 to 12 months then you’re a moron. Hell, the stability study on the finished vaccine takes 12 weeks.

Good answer. Fauci and the CDC have been a bastion of integrity and honesty. You have proof here that the labs capable of running the sequencing of variants aren’t actually doing it yet he pontificates hourly on the % of cases that are of each variant. Where is he getting the info from? These labs are directly refuting what he’s telling us. Both my parents have tested positive in the last 2-3 weeks; neither were told their variant because it’s not known. If he lies about this what else is willing to or has already lied about or exaggerated.

20 months in, no mask, no vaccine, no lost life experiences, no change in routine, no Covid (or so mild didn’t know it). Think I’ll continue living like a cavalier in Neyland and on Market Square this weekend, like I did last weekend, and plan to 5 more times this Fall.

What is your tie to Tennessee? It’s probably been asked but I don’t follow you around so I haven’t seen the answer. Did you ever think that perhaps it ran rampant through the metro areas earlier and now the weakest are gone and the others have reached a level of immunity. You know like when NYC and NJ were killing everyone?
