I was referring to the bolded point that there's not been any illness by those who were masked. I know that's a hot button for you antivaxxers.

Anyhoo, no one denies there are break though cases, so I'm not sure this is the dunk you thought it was.

They said they know the cases arent happening at school. That's a large leap to the ones who are sick werent wearing masks when they got it.

That implies they actually know when they got it, and that also the masks are 100% effective, and the safe people wore them 100% of the time. Which clearly no reasonable person thinks.

Wait, I thought the mask wasn't to protect the person wearing it, but it was to protect people from the ejecta and droplets of the person wearing it?

Oh, no one denies it NOW... but before there were any "breakthrough cases", the vaccine was sold as the way to prevent infection.

Children and the young are extremely more responsive and resilient than an elderly person that has a weakened immune system. I understand what you are asking but there’s a reason why an aggressive virus like Covid is harder on the elderly.. time takes its toll on the body .

Actually I’m not even talking about Covid. It seems that people are lost on the idea if you keep kids out of school and stay apart a lot of diseases go away.

Obviously shutting everything down isn’t a realistic way to live but there are lessons to be learned and it’s not because everything is being called Covid

Flu, yes. However, RSV has circulated at unprecedented rates all summer. The last report from Children's showed 40 cases in the prior week, after hovering in the 20-30s/wk range for 2-3 months. Most years there are basically no RSV cases from April until Nov/Dec. My partners and I have probably admitted between 8 and 12 small children with RSV this summer, and we don't ever remember admitting a single one in our entire careers.

So RSV hit historic lows then bounced back with a vengeance. I should have been more clear in what I was saying. And to be fair I’m operating on what the Red Woman’s ID Dr said. I have no reason not to believe him. And really RSV in and of itself isn’t the point.
The point….
It’s been suggested on here that the flu is being counted as Covid19. That there’s no actual difference in a normal years flu season and the last year and a half. I don’t think Drs are stupid. I think you know the difference between Covid and the flu. I would rather spend the time looking at what’s actually happening and figuring out what we can learn from it.

I can’t believe our government doesn’t care for all the thousands of Haitians that they illegally brought into the country. They didn’t force them to take the wonderful vaccine. That’s like sending them to their Covid pneumonia death. Right?

Why would you vaccinate someone when you can use them as a biological weapon and send them to states that don’t do exactly as they’re told
