Vaccine or not?

I'm trying to see where you're coming from, but I don't get it. If you have been vaccinated, and you believe in the efficacy of the vaccine, why wear a mask? Is it because of "breakthrough" cases? We've been told those are a rarity. So if true, you shouldn't need a mask if you have been vaccinated. Either the vaccine protects you or it doesn't, so which is it?

Aight, let's go through the steps

1. Pandemic happens
2. Vaccines are available
3. Some protest vaccines
4. Virus can mutate into variants
5. Vaccine of all would have stopped it
6. Variants continue

So yeah, that's the just of it in 6 easy steps.

There's nothing to 'get'. You want everyone to put their life on hold to protect your family. But you have a 'vaccine' that supposedly protects others from getting this contagious, yet terribly survivable disease and you still wear a mask to prevent others from getting this contagious, yet terribly survivable disease. Meanwhile, there are people out there that just might be high risk for the reception of this 'vaccine' due to their own condition/history, but because you want them to protect YOUR family, they should throw any/all caution/due diligence to the wind, and roll up that sleeve so you feel good about things. And if they don't take it, you 'won't pay for their health care'. But if they DO take the 'vaccine', and subsequently find themselves in the very same ICU or hospital, that somehow is an acceptable expense for you.

Right. And I am the one that doesn't 'get it'.

You are not a very smart person. Actually, I think you are just a troll like someone else said. But I am stuck in a hotel in Korea for the next 70 hours, and I am bored.

And I have no idea who Bill Lee is, nor do I care.
The governor of Tennessee.

What's the connection of the virus mutating to vaccines? I think you're making a leap in logic on that one. Viruses mutate with or without vaccines. Take the flu. Not even sure how many mutations of the flu bug there are, but they continue to grow despite there being a flu vaccine. And every year, they base the flu vaccine on whichever strain the CDC believes will be most prominent. At least that's my understanding of it. If any actual virologists or doctors want to chime in and correct me, please do.

You do understand this is a new virus? Flu been around for a while. The mutations are not understood like the flu would be.

I understand it's a virus, and viruses mutate. The existence of a vaccine or whether or not one is vaccinated has nothing to do with that. So using mutation as a reason to get vaccinated is a fallacy.

How exactly do we know which mutation of Covid someone has? Is it based on testing or just how many months into the virus we are, like a timeframe best guess?

How would I know that? How long did it take to cure polio, smallpox? You tell me that?

Take a swab and look at it under the microscope.

Well if it took a while to study those before finally coming up with actual effective vaccines that provide immunity, then how does a new virus they evidently know little about and is still in mutation stages have 3 “vaccines” that don’t provide actual immunity?

Take a swab and look at it under the microscope.

Wouldn’t it be great if they were doing that instead of relying on a test that can’t distinguish Covid from the flu and is getting shelved by the very entity that put the test into use in the first place.

Lol. Then why are you asking everyone else to get a vaccine they don’t need? Lol I’ve already had it. No ventilator. No fever. No cough. Sorry to disappoint you. Better look out for you and yours.
I know a guy who's likely in better shape than you, who has had it twice. Got really sick the second time. Guess what? His wife has it for the second time and she is really sick this go around as well. They're both unvaxxed because they both just knew better like you

No one is asking you to put your life on hold. Good god, man.

Seems to me he’s likely not in better shape. 🤣😂

I seriously have a friend that just gave up second row concert tickets, backstage passes, and a meet and greet for a concert by his wife's favorite artist. When I asked him why, he said it would be "literally retarded" to go breathe 17,000 unvaccinated people's air. They are both fully vaccinated.

The fear is real.
I’m fully vaccinated. I saw jimmy buffet in Nashville in April and Zac Brown Band on Long Island 2 1/2 weeks ago. It’s fair to say there were a few people there. It’s time for everyone to live their lives again. Oh…and going to the blue grass festival Friday night in chattanooga to see The Dismembered Tennesseans.
