Vaccine or not?

How so? The vaccines have reduced the number of COVID-19 cases, which in turn reduces the number of COVID-related deaths.

Once again, the statistics are clear on this. The vaccines have reduced the spread of COVID. There is still a risk, but the vaccines have saved lives. There is no question about that.

Did you ignore the latest adverse events data from the CDC posted here earlier that listed over 800k adverse events have been reported in response to the shots? That qualifies as the shots compromising the health and safety of others.

How many people vaxxed people have been hospitalized with Covid? These are cases serious enough to warrant hospitalization.
Now what about those vaxxed who contract mild Covid and don’t realize they have it who are going about daily life believing they are “safe”. How many are they infecting?

I tried to show him that the math was off but he prefers to remain ignorant. He is just posting the most outrageous headlines he can find to justify his opinion. Too bad “journalists” are doing the same thing and giving him and others plenty of material. Who knew basic math was so hard for people?
First off he is a she...Me in helmet Go Vols.jpg.and I do math every day all day, I don't know what math you are talking about and if you don't like
the stats that I post, take it up with the CDC

Well hello she. Go back and read the article you posted. Then do so basic math. Then come apologize for your ignorance. I will be waiting.

So a .19% percent chance of having any type of negative reaction. Less then 1/5 of one percent. You sound like the opposite side of the same coin of the everyone must vax crowd. Well statistically worse actually.

fortunately I have to tread lightly in here now, so consider yourself lucky

Why do you have to tread lightly in here? Can you not support your stances with logic, civil discourse and common courtesy or must you use other more vulgar means to prove your points that would cause you board reprimand issues?

Say whatever you want. I won’t complain. Just go read the article you linked. The actual difference was around 4X not 11X. When you are dealing with such small percentages based on 100,000 instances, the statistical difference (even at 11X) is not meaningful imo.

On the contrary, I can prove a point with out name calling, its only someone that cannot keep up that has to resort to that

Good catch, as that’s exactly the way I intended it to sound by writing it as I did.😉

Fully vaccinated people with a vaccine breakthrough infection are less likely to develop serious illness than those who are unvaccinated and get COVID-19. Even when fully vaccinated people develop symptoms, they tend to be less severe symptoms than in unvaccinated people. This means they are much less likely to be hospitalized or die than people who are not vaccinated.

A common reason I see used for remaining unvaccinated is :

"You can still contract COVID-19 when you are fully vaccinated."

That isn't a good reason. There really isn't a good reason for an adult to remain unvaccinated, especially if you are over 70 years old.
Natural immunity ring a bell?
