Vaccine or not?

According to this legal opinion, OSHA doesn't have the power to enact a vaccine mandate w/o Congressional authority:

That would make sense. If the President by decree can order shots in arms of everyone working in companies of over 100 people then we're screwed as a country

So, we are vaccinating young children, who have been shown to be the least likely to spread the virus, after an incredibly small trial run with a vaccine that does not match the predominant strain to protect vaccinated people?

It's absolutely insane. I have lived a completely normal lift since covid first appeared. I'm not getting the jab and no way am I allowing it to enter my kids bodies. I'm so over covid at this point.

I no longer argue that the vaccine is a good thing…..which it is for most……over these tyrannical mandates.

In New York they are pushing a vaccine for everyone above 5 to have proof of vaccine to be in public.
No exemption for those who had and recovered from Covid.
So no looking at science what so ever.
It’s literally a “papers please “ situation.

I got vaccinated and have lived a completely normal life the entire time too. We’re at 36 new cases yesterday for Hamilton Co down from 1000 in August. This thing is all but over. Time for everyone to go about their lives….,like we already are

This is the major reason I've been opposed to it. While I have certainly seen a level of protection it provided for my wifes parents, my wife and I have both had covid already and for both of it was not that bad at all. I just didnt feel like it was something that I needed until we know a little more about side affects etc. I have no problem with others who choose differently then I do. I do have a problem with any and all mandates. We could look at other countries and see what was happening with the vaccine mandates and know that it would eventually be that way. 8 months ago anybody who voiced concerns about where this was headed with vaccine passports was immediately labeled a conspiracy theorists. We were told "this is America, that will never happen here." Now we are told "just shut up and do it if you want to be a part of society"

Because they've now changed the formula to help with the heart issues that they've never acknowledged? Makes me want to just rush out and get my boys some extra shots

If you are scared of crime then I’m fine with you not leaving your home. It’s that simple. It’s not up to me or anyone else to live your life. We are busy living ours. It really is that simple.

I’ve done a quick look but can’t locate the data. Since one reason for vaccinating children is to diminish the spread, it would be interesting to see what the unvaccinated pediatric case/100k is vs the vaccinated population breakthrough case/100k number is. Basically, where are the new cases actually coming from??

But here's the kicker.

Where do you set the p value for approval for a drug or vaccine? Across non-medical statistics study, a p value < 0.05 is the standard. Medical outcomes are held to the much more difficult to achieve 0.01 threshold.

We're seeing a significant amount of emotional manipulation that makes it appear as if that 0.01 number is some loosey goosey irresponsible threshold when it's the limiting factor that has kept multiple drugs off the market. Tighten it up any more, say to 0.005, and you're going to see almost all prescriptions taken off the shelves.

So ignoring the emotional manipulation, what's the acceptable threshold?

You’ve had it.
You don’t need a vaccine that actually has increased side effects for those who have had Covid.
Are we looking at the science (we’re not) or not (it’s all political)
