As soon as testing wasnt accepted, it wasnt about safety.
As soon as natural immunity wasnt accepted, it wasnt about safety.
As soon as they mentioned potential denial of care, it wasnt about safety.
As soon as the vaxxed got treated differently than the unvaxxed, it wasnt about safety.

The crazy thing, most of those could have been about safety if they established an actual metric from the start.

Is your risk factor above 10? Get tested weekly.
Is your risk factor above 5? Get vaccinated.
Is your risk factor above 1? Wear a mask.

Whatever. But no metric. The only metric is the vaccine, no matter how ineffective it is against whatever variant.
