I'm far from a doctor, and maybe my doc was concerned because I'm very susceptible to bronchitis, but she told me to stay out of bed as much as possible. They told me not to be horizontal unless I was going to sleep at night. Just FYI...maybe she has the new variant and it will be no big deal but just passing along.

It was pretty brutal on me, hope you guys recover quickly.

Starting Wednesday, December 1st, Subterranean and Beat Kitchen will require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 for all staff, patrons and performers.
The final dose of vaccination must be no less than 14 days prior to the event. Proof of vaccination may include a physical copy of your vaccination card or a digital photo/photocopy of your card and must match the name on your government-issued photo ID.
Negative tests will no longer be accepted for entry.
Additionally, per current guidance from the city of Chicago, masks will be required indoors except while actively eating or drinking.

Anytime I have a cold or anything that's obstructing breathing during horizontal sleep, I sleep on our sectional couch and I post up in the corner with some pillows so I can lean against the L comfortably sitting at like a 35-degree angle. I just take some nyquill to knock myself out, and I breathe pretty well through my nose. If I lay horizontally and breathe through my mouth all night...that's how a cold turns into a sore throat.

She's not got any of the lung or breathing symptoms, she's just freezing cold and achy. Almost like the flu.

She's been eating more today and I am making her hydrate and take Vitamin C and she's already looking and sounding better.

Good, glad to hear. The breathing stuff is when it gets scary. Glad you guys are not bad

Sounds similar. I got in the high 103s a couple of times but hit a lukewarm shower like we do with the kids when they have fevers. Other than that it was Tylenol, Sudafed, water and sleep when possible

Friend that is now negative had the same but not as bad. This is going around whatever it is

I doubt this has anything to do with all the small rural hospitals and medical centers that were financially ruined and shut down pre-Trump. I’m sure everybody everywhere has just a few minutes away access to treatment facilities at the first signs of illness.🤷‍♀️
