Vaccine or not?

Most thing require weighing the sources of information. Some think the vaccines are all about more $ for big Pharma
Luckily my youngest brother married "THE EXPERT -one of the leading medical experts who was working on the vaccines at the beginning of the outbreak. that is if you think there is merit in the intelligence at Harvard University.
MY sister in law is Dr. Megan Murray - Bozeman using her maiden name in her profession.
Dr. Megan Murray, MD, MPH, ScD
Ronda Stryker & William Johnston Professor of Global Health at Harvard Medical School and has served as a tenured professor of Epidemiology with particular emphasis on the COVID variants since SARS came on the scene. Dr. Megan was known as 'the SARS Queen'
My brother holds a Doctorate in Public Health after schooling at Dartmouth, Berklee College of Music and Boston Universities. His job is more analytical - gathering data on the efficacy of various treatment programs, and my other Doctor brother has a thriving practice in Sevierville where he fires any patient who refuses the vaccine. He does amazing work with his patients who contract the virus using monoclonal antibody therapy “Every day we generate a list of Stanford patients newly diagnosed with COVID-19,” Singh said, “and we consider a variety of factors including their age and any other medical conditions. I was reaching out to these patients to talk about monoclonal antibody therapy."

BCG Vaccine against COVID-19: Dr. Megan Murray’s Research & Videos

Harvard global health researcher and Chief Abundance Partner, Dr. Megan Murray, hypothesizes that the most widely used vaccine in the world (BCG, originally developed for tuberculosis), might be useful in protecting people against COVID-19. Her insight is based on clinical studies that show BCG works against a host of unrelated infections, including many respiratory diseases.
As long-time collaborators — fighting epidemic disease including Cholera and Ebola — Dr. Murray immediately approached Abundance Foundation with a proposal for a compelling stage 3 research trial. Since that moment, we’ve worked assiduously to engage research partners and donors in this high quality, rigorous study.
As part of this effort, Abundance Foundation Founder and President, Dr. Stephen Kahn, interviewed Dr. Murray about her COVID-19 research, studying the efficacy of the BCG vaccine in a randomized, blinded clinical trial that spans three countries. As a widely available and inexpensive vaccine, BCG has the potential to offer an effective and equitable solution to this devastating pandemic.

Vaccination is a no brainer with my family. I would be a complete fool to ignore the years of education and expertise found in my immediate family. So I pass it along to my extended Big Orange brothers so you too are afforded the same significant expertise

Most of us do not have the advantage of close family member as one of the leading experts on the COVID Vaccines so I pass along her advice to all of you - Get Vaccinated as soon as possible. The downsides are rare and insignificant when compared to the upside.
Yeah, no.

Yep, it was wonderful.
He's right the vaccine isn't killing people. The vaccine only treatment is contributing to more deaths. A focus on therapeutics would save lives. The problem is, some a$$holes believe the vaccine is all that's needed. They also believe in vaccine mandates. These people should be reminded everyday for the rest of their lives how stupid the truly are.

Then why are the vast majority of people filling up the hospitals unvaccinated?
Because they have co-morbidities and are morbidly unhealthy to begin with, the same reason it’s always been. Had a co-worker’s husband wind up in the hospital with it back around the time I had it, he’s unvaccinated. The vaccine would’ve helped him and likely kept him out of the hospital; because he’s a solid 380, has been on disability most his adult life due to his health and takes enough pills a day to tranquilize a blue whale. You won’t find anyone on here who’s anti-mandate and even anti-needing the vax suggest that there aren’t people who should get it. We say it’s not necessary for everyone because we’re not all equivalent. You immediately attribute all negative outcomes to the lack of vaccine ONLY and give no credence to what else could exacerbate the situation; there are other contributing factors than just the vaccine.

What would the vaccine have done for me? I had body aches for a day, some fatigue and lost my taste and smell. My blood oxygen level never dipped below 98, I never had shortness of breath or cough and my vaxed mother lost her taste and smell for longer than I did and post return it took longer to fully come back.

I don’t know, I hear the loud boos when he tries to talk about it.

In a full circle of irony I recall numerous liberal pundits chiding Trump for being cavalier in his masking in 2020 due to him being “morbidly obese” or overall appearance of health (their words not mine). They acknowledged that obesity and health were factors now it’s shifted to nothing but vaccination status being the only contributing factor of death.

You always go off topic and bring up something else instead so you don’t have to answer. It’s called the ‘straw man fallacy’

It’s a free country nobody is forcing anyone to get a shot, of course it’s your choice. The country is divided on the issue. It’s okay, to have a different opinion.

You sure about that? Federal employees and the military are being forced to get the shot or lose their job! Biden’s vaccine mandate for employers with over 100 employees is forcing people to get the shot or lose their job. Sure you will say they can quit and find another career but maybe that’s not possible when you have a family to support.

It’s still a choice, nobody is being ‘forced’

If a mod decided that you could no longer post in the Volnation forums would you take that as being prevented (forced) from posting? Because... as you know... you could always choose to post on another site.

And ftr, please don't take my point above as suggesting you no longer post on Volnation... just trying to draw a picture of the lunacy.

Have vaccines traditionally been optional in the military?

Your response was “I don’t know I always hear them boo him”. WTF is that in regards to? You didn’t ask me a question so what was I supposed to answer?

Those boos are only going to get louder and louder the more he talks. For whatever reasons he has, misinformed, ego or something else, he basically is flat out lying and his base knows it and is calling him out over it.
