Vaccine or not?

Can we please stop with the one case anecdotal bull **** please.

Edit: not you @AthensVol2007 I mean the people who keep posting the “this person died because they did/didn’t vaccinate.” Tweets and memes
I try not to get into the anecdotes myself best I can. I just found it interesting that last go around all the same people tested positive and the only “known” differing factor this go around was the ivermectin. It may have been one person at the wedding that his wife didn’t go around that the others did and that may never be pinned down.

I was lashing out at people that post the memes “she got the booster and died” or “he didn’t get vaccinated and died” after I did I realized you had just made a point in the post I responded too just before, which was fine a part of the normal conversation. I just didn’t want anyone to think that was a shot at you.

New week, new CDC guidelines...

CDC Changes Booster Guidelines (Again) As US Reports Record Cases | ZeroHedge

But that hasn't stopped the CDC from deciding to change the timeline for receiving a booster shot to five months, down from six, serving to further confuse the public about the government's rules.

The CDC is also recommending that moderately or severely immuno-compromised 5-to-11-year-olds receive an additional primary dose of the vaccine 28 days after their second shot, introducing a whole new jab to the equation.

I didn't get vaxxed, got COVID, and if you couldn't tell I haven't died.
In the same boat.
I’m not anti-Vaxx. Just not comfortable with it just yet.

Tested positive last week. The exhaustion was pretty brutal. But that was the main symptom. Wife is vaccinated and she got it as well. Pretty much the same results. Her symptoms were a little more mild than mine, but I’m also kind of a baby when I’m sick so who knows.

I got it, wife got it, dad got it. We think mom had it in the past. Wife and I are unvaxxed.

Wife had the "worst" symptoms but they went away much faster. Dad had the worst symptoms over the longest time. I had the mildest symptoms but they lasted about 4 days. So in essence I'm not sure the vax did anything, but the variation could be due to age. Who knows.

It’s just a matter of time. I think everyone is getting it.

Glad everyone is ok.

My poor neighbor is Covid positive.
This guy has had Covid (confirmed) twice already and now has it again. No idea if he’s had any form of vaccine. The first time he was nearly hospitalized. 2nd time he was just sick. I told him that the trend means it stays mild this time. Crazy to have it 3 times

What’s the deal with the antibody treatments? Why can this not be found anymore?
A) Local hospitals have not been given any official information, they just haven't been sent very much by the federal government. To my knowledge, there is no national shortage. Draw your own conclusions.

B) As with the mRNA shots, the heavily-mutated spike protein is largely unaffected by existing mAb therapeutics (as it does not match the protein structure of the new variant). Therefore, antibody infusions will not be nearly as effective. Think: new flu strain vs mismatched vaccine.

My brother in law works vaccines for A company not doing Covid vaccine. He says they missed on the flu shot this year.
So could be a bad flu year
