Personally know a 20 year old college athlete who had to have an ablation performed after developing myocarditis from the vaccine. Sure it’s just 1 case (and yes I know others who have gotten very sick from Covid) but quit acting like their aren’t serious concerns out there over the vaccine.

You know, I as many others have thought long and hard....They do not really gain anything by shutting down the economy or asking you to wear a mask, as a microcosm.
I just dont accept it that is about control so much as the appearance that gov policy is an "effective answer or policy" for any of our national problems.

One particular poster here, name unsaid, celebrated the thought of "thinning the herd" back in Spring 2020. I see that person now has family members get COVID and become concerned with everyone getting the vax.

It’s very clear now that the vaccine does a great job of limiting an individuals risk of severe disease or death. But it’s no longer a public health issue. It’s a personal health issue. So, yes, people dying with/from Covid are going to remain the people that choose, for whatever reason, not to be vaccinated. Just like people who have chosen to continue smoking or being overweight will continue to die disproportionately from heart and lung disease.

How sad. You are the perfect example of what's destroying our country. In your opinion the only thing that matters is your own opinion and apparantly you hope that everybody that doesn't share your opinion dies. To many of us, Covid 19 simply does not pose a large enough risk to be jabbing every man woman and child with an experimental drug that we have no idea what the long term affects will be. There is actually now plenty of data from other countries that proves that cases actually rise as the percentage of vaccinated rises. There is also plenty of data that shows that adverse reactions do happen. Look at the uptick in heart attacks. It's simply not worth the risk to many healthy people who prefer to make their own health decisions.

I still think it's all about control. This is my opinion. It might not happen now but I think this is almost like a trial run of what it will be like sometime in the future when everything we do is controlled by the government. (Might want to do some research on Agenda 21 and Agenda 30) Your ability to borrow money will one day be affected greatly by your social score. Also, your vaccination status will one day play a large part in how much you can interact with society. I think they pushed it as far as they could and now will take a step back and them in 10 years when the next pandemic comes people will think it's completely normal to simply do whatever the government asks you to do for the "safety" of others.

Hey, he at least avoided a very small chance of myocarditis that would have healed up in a few days on its own.

In my 6 years and multiple overseas deployments with the US Army, I was vaccinated and boosted against everything and anything you can think of, including Smallpox and Anthrax.

Which is why I did not want to get the covid jab. I was not going to get it until my employer made it a policy that unvaxxed must wear a mask all day. I submitted and got the single dose J&J.

I was considered fully vaxxed until this week. A mass email explained that the CDC has 2 definitions of 'fully vaxxed'. My status is 'not boosted', even though the J&J is a single dose vax.

Everyone has their reasons. I am against forcing people to get the shot. It is immoral authoritarianism that does not have a place in a country founded on freedom.

1) unvaccinated are limited in public levels of exposure, ie cannot attend concerts or large group events?

2) unvaccinated are placed down the list for provisin of care versus someone who is vaccinated?

Both theories being that if you choose not to be vaccinated you are at higher risk of heavy expenditures and diverting resources from people who did get vaccinated.

Why ask 1 or 2? Both can catch and spread it and Fauci said the viral load in the nose of both is identical.

I have friends that took the J & J just so they could keep traveling. They said under no circumstance will they mix and match with the Pfizer or Moderna shots.
