You should know the donors I spoke of a are geographically located in lifenets area of operation. Those geographical determinations are set up like district courts. One organization may cover 2 1/2 states or only 1/2 a state. Depending on your location the organ transplant organization may go by slightly different rules.
I lived in northern Indiana and southern Michigan for years. I had to take classes to be a designated requester for IOPO. It has changed now to strictly calling the organ transplant center when certain triggers occur. Then they contact donor families.
I hope you get a kidney and can end HD. I’ll be praying for just that.

Been reading more on this story involving the 6 month old. It seems it may be a series of vaccines needed, not necessarily Covid. If this is the case, it makes more sense as these rules would have been in place well before Covid.

In large part, I agree. But I do think it’s more justifiable if it is indeed a series (typical vaccines - as this would have previously been in place) as opposed to Covid vaccine.

GOL Michigan was the sister organization for my OPO when I was there. Went to Ann Arbor many times when they were short-handed. Even helped train some of their organ recovery and tissue recovery coordinators. Good people up there.

How in the h#ck does one get covid three times! I'm un-vaccinated, have hugged and shook hands with people who found out they had it the next day, have avoided wearing a mask as much as possible, i.e. I've about done everything I can to get other than kiss someone with in the hospital (wife had it, I kissed her at home).

And yet to get it. Don't know if it matters or not, but I am not one of those folks who wants everything around me sterilized. Have probably said this before, but believe in a little dirt strengthens one's immune system and I'm with George Carlin on this: mine is equipped with grenades and machine guns because of it.

Most likely, some have had a similar coronavirus strain in the recent past, which is providing cross-protection. My wife is in the same boat. CVs are very common respiratory bugs and (like CV19) usually cause minor illness in the young, healthy population.

Alternatively, there could be a genetic resistance via the ACE receptor by which the virus is simply unable to enter some people's cells. I have not seen research on this, yet.

I think I'll have to pass on this one. I'll stick with exactly what's worked well for me and my family. Natural immunity combined with the daily doses of Vidamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc is awesome. At this point its clear that the clot shots are a never ending cycle that will never end and it does not (in my experience) provide the protection that my natural immunity does.
