There are hundreds of thousands of people who need surgery or care or other things a year that they can’t afford or because they don’t follow the proper protocols as laid forth by their doctors or insurance. That is their choice in those cases. They have the freedom to do what they choose.You are on the wrong side of this. I know you are beholden to policy much like many folks in healthcare. But taking such a rigid position fosters scenarios where the main goal of the mission is being overlooked.
It’s much like the Pharisees calling Jesus a heretic because he dared to heal a blind man on the Sabbath.
