There are hundreds of thousands of people who need surgery or care or other things a year that they can’t afford or because they don’t follow the proper protocols as laid forth by their doctors or insurance. That is their choice in those cases. They have the freedom to do what they choose.

Yeah dude.... you are wrong on this.

But for sake of the argument.... WHY is the vaccine being forced on this child? For the child's protection? That of the doctors? Since when has 'protocol' included (still) experimental, emergency use inoculation for a disease that has long since morphed into a ****ing head cold? It doesn't pass any kind of smell test

A protocol established for a non FDA approved therapeutic shot that is only available as EUA is a protocol that should be abolished. And just like good little hospital employees they will hide behind it.

It’s not just the Covid vaccine this father is against. He doesn’t want the child to have any vaccinations. Which is against every transplant protocol. And always will be

Religious folks that are completely anti vaxx or against blood transfusions or drug addicts or alcoholics also don’t dictate what surgeons do or who is on the transplant lists. Which is their right. Again it happens everyday. I personally would try to save my son’s life instead of winning a Facebook battle

Absolutely not. There should be reasonable protocols in place that “do no harm”. But if the protocols do harm then they should be amended.

Nobody going in for a CABG right now is being forced to provide vaccine information.

This has nothing to do with the Covid vax. The parents emotionally played the story for extra $. From what I hear now they got the vaccinations required and the transplant will happen. Which is what I suspected

If an EUA shot is required, do you stand behind that policy?

One thing this pandemic has shown is how moronic and knee jerk folks in healthcare can be. They abandoned years of training to sit 6 feet apart in masks that don’t work.
