Vaccine or not?

Supply, demand and price.

For a 400% price hike, we are to assume that demand is still high and/or supplies of the vaccine are low??? I'm not even sure that there are as many people wanting the jab (although I do admit we still have plenty of Covidians still out here). And I find it hard to believe that we don't have batches of the shots just sitting warehoused after the huge ramp up early on and less than anticipated demand.

I know nobody in person that has gone beyond the third shot. And I know a lot of people.

This. All day.
We tried to put a central line into a woman who developed multiple clots post 7 days 4th booster. She had a heparin drip running and was therapeutic. She also had documented 12 large vessel occlusions.
I watched as the ACP attempted 5 times to place a central line. They start with ultrasound and an introducer. The introducer, a large lumen needle, is put directly into the vein and normally there is a blood return. We saw the same thing 5 times on ultrasound, the tip of the introducer immediately started attracting clots on the tip and the blood return stopped.
I requested she take photos as this was highly unusual to witness during central line placement. They were documented and put in her record.
I know when I correlate the individual information in front of me with the statistics offered that the picture that statistics alone offers is left incomplete.
That woman will never be reported to VAERS as an adverse event and possibly a death. Those 12 major vessels included her entire upper left vasculature to her head. She won’t ever be extubated and she continues to have Vtach events which are self limiting. Her prognosis at this point is extremely poor. That’s only 1 case I’m accounting for and incoming young nurses are clueless about reporting cases to VAERS.
Time constraints, charge responsibility, training and patient load prevent me from spending 30 minutes to file a VAERS report. Since the hospital system is having problems with staffing I would imagine this is a problem systemwide. If it is a problem with all systems then we have data that is off. JMO.

Anyone who undergoes CPR and is intubated will have some lingering issues to clear up the lungs. CPR in itself can be pretty damaging if done correctly. He went through 9 minutes that I’m aware of and that equates to 900 to 1080 compressions minus pulse checks if it was done correctly.
The lung issues were a result and not a cause.
I actually did cpr for 30 minutes on a client who fell and hit her head about 3 years ago. They said I kept her alive long enough for family to get to the hospital.

Most exhausted I’ve ever been. The ambulance gave me oxygen and checked vital signs.

My wife had her annual physical this morning with her PCP, a provider in a large local group. When she informed him she regretted taking the first two shots, I was impressed that he told her he understood and that a lot of people feel that way, but we didn't really know at the time how bad things would get or the true risk from illness at that age. He also said he wouldn't really recommend boosters, as she is relatively young and healthy.

Needless to say, a lot has changed in that practice from two years ago. Glad to see that at least SOME people are learning and moving on.

A day late as far as I'm concerned.

Whatever, my wife and I got our 5th booster shot for the latest Covvie variant. All I know is we've had anti-vax friends and acquaintances hospitalized or suffering long term lingering effects of the Covvie, while we suffered short-term soreness of the shot. Not wholly true, just recall the 4th shot, the wife had two day flu-like symptoms. That was shooed away by rest and Jewish penicillin. Me? No reaction other than the sore arm prick site.

I hope your experience doesn't change.
