Vaccine or not?

That's what I thought.

Your posts make me think that there just might actually be 81 million people that were dumb enough to vote for Joe Biden.

He enjoys trolling. Sometimes it can even be witty enough to be funny. Just remember that's his game though and don't get too involved.

I suppose that I should get the Shingles vaccine, but I have only known one person to get it, and that was a buddy of mine that was in his late teens/early 20s. Does the severity of Shingles have anything to do with the severity of the measles when I had them?

You mean chicken pox?

Have never heard of anyone complain of the shingles shot. What are the side effects? I’ve had family members get shingles and say it’s the absolute worst feeling.
My wife had a fever and just felt bad for a couple of days. I couldn't tell I'd taken anything. My wife said it was worse than the rona vaccine.

No less than 1 month between
I had my first one in February of '20, right before the pandemic hit. The pandemic screwed everything up and I didn't remember to go get the second shot. A year later at my annual physical, the doc asked me if I'd had it and I told him I didn't think so. He looked at my chart and said, yes you did, last year here at your physical. He asked if I got the second shot and I said I guess not. I asked if we had to start over and he said I think you'll be OK if we give it now. So he did the second one a year later.

I'd say she is not with us anymore. Elvis had a heart attack at 42 I believe, sounds like he passed his bad heart genes along to his daughter.

I've actually criticized or refrained from commenting on the unproven and anecdotal posts in the past. I've never posted anything as "celebration." Again, I'm concerned and looking for answers, as I think any responsible human should.

For most of y'all, this is fun and games. I have to advise parents what to do for their children every day. It's a responsibility I do not take lightly.
I don’t envy your having to do that at all.. one of the scariest things that happened during my entire nursing career was being on the phone with infectious disease doc in March 2020 and he admitted ‘we really don’t know what is going on, this is unprecedented’

Ha, I had the same thing happen in Feb of 20

You really are this naive aren't you. Keep trusting what they are telling you. Like I said earlier, I really do hope your personal experience with no side effects doesn't change at all and

Thank you. Mixing prtend niceness with snideness. Brilliant!!! I hope all goes well with you too, and I actually mean that.

Here’s my problem with ivermectin. It hasn’t been able to be proven effective Vs Covid in a clinical study.
And you likely will not see a study from an "approved" authority come out with that study because if that happened, that exposes the racket and the push to get emergency authorization.

Also... vitamin C, D and zinc... COVID free for me 3 years in. No jab.

I’m currently weighing my options on the shingles vaccine.
Getting older sucks
I'll take my chances with COVID, shingles, influenza, and even tetanus at this point before I get another jab anytime soon. Not saying "never", but the medical community and Big Pharma have lost a lot of credibility with me. The furthest I will be willing to go is with vitamin supplements, which even then might pose some risks. But the days have long passed in my mind of Big Pharma doing anything in the best interests of the people/patients.

If it works it could be easily proven.
Everyone isn’t sold out to the man.

Has anyone on VN taken the vaccine and possibly boosters and experienced anything adverse?

I took my first two Moderna shots in the summer of 2021. Thankfully have not experienced any side effects.
I know someone who’s arm and hand swelled up and in pain for several days after the shot.

If you are only willing to accept results from controlled randomized double blind trials as evidence, then that doesn't exactly meet your definition of "easily provable". And even then, when you do have that type of trial, like the together trial, you see a bunch of very glaring errors that make the conclusion of "ivermectin is useless" look ridiculous. Hell, with compounding errors acting against ivermectin in the together trial, it still showed an effect vs the placebo group. But the narrative was still "it's useless horse paste" even after that.
