Vandy's a good team and coached by a good coach

U Vols fans would really hate him then. Florida would be the Bama of the East with Franklin at the helm!

You my friend need to remove the rock that is covering your hole. Better yet.....go find a Vandy message board and stroke the other Vandy fan.

It basically shows you what a good coach can do

Same team was 3-9 last year

Not the same team..They have Nick Marshall at QB and Jeremy Zjohnson backing him up plus Carl Lawson. QB play for AU was aweful last year, amazing what a QB can do for you. But Malzahn is a really good Coach. But if he still had last yrs QB's they aren't 9-1 this yr.

An upset is when a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked team.

They will also be favored. That means the odds makers think Vandy will win.

Sorry for the bad news. Has nothing to do with tradition.

Not true at all. If your logic was true then why was an unranked Arizona favored over a top 2010 UCLA? Doubt Vandy is favored over UT in Neyland.

Vandy hardly threw the ball against Florida and still blew them out! Everybody has double and triple covered Matthews and he hasn't been stopped yet.

Floridas pathetic, depleted defense held him to 45 yards. Georgia held him to 89 yards. TAMUs terrible defense held him to 92 yards. Oh and Massachusetts held him 76 yards. Sure he hasn't been stopped :eek:lol::eek:lol:.

Florida beat themselves with a pathetic offense and a true freshman QB. Keep telling yourself that your a good team though.

Good lord, give credit where credit is due.

It's November and auburn controls its destiny to win an sec title.

Who saw Alabama-auburn as the game of the year in the sec in 2013?

We are literally on the ropes, backed into a corner. I just hope we are fired up and ready to play all game.

Vandies schedule has been light years weaker than UTs. Just saying. We beat SC. They beat a very depleted UGA courtesy of the Vols. We lost at the swamp because we had 6 turnovers. They won at the swamp because they got 4 turnovers against a UF team that has flat out quit. Both of us steam rolled by Missouri. They haven't played Bamer nor Oregon. Its not really apples to apples.

That said, they are probably slightly better than we are. Mostly because of Bobby Johnson's kids.

You've got to be kidding me? Johnson was known for bringing in stellar classes while he was at Vandy. :ermm:

If franklin goes to Florida he will have Better Talent and if we don't win our next game with him with 2 weeks to prepare we are in deep shat!

If we lose, its only because we didnt execute on D. That's enough concern for me

I think your concern is on the wrong side of the ball. Our defense will get more talented and faster after this year. It's only looking up from here.

What's the excuse for the awful offense? Solid RB's, solid offensive line, below average QB and this is the best we can do?

Tennessee's Offense
Yards per game - 101st
Scoring offense - 86st
Time of possession - 83rd
First Down's - 82nd
3rd down conversions - 101st

Something is seriously broken with our offense and this "inexperienced QB" is only a convenient excuse for Bajakian's failings.

I don't like Bajankian and don't think he is SEC caliber. However we have had 2 rookie QBs, 2 freshman WRs, 1 sophomore WR.

Fact: UT has a tougher schedule than Vandy.
Vandy beat a depleted UGA and Gator team. The Vols should have beaten the Dawgs. If the Vols beat Vandy it's not an upset. Just waiting to see what the point spread is and how many prognosticators pick Vandy. Coach Jones and the team know this is a very, very important game and a win will give the Vols a shot at a possible bowl bid. The Vols will beat Kentucky by 17! GO BIG ORANGE!

I think its time for most posters to turn it off and live in reality. We are what most reasonable people thought we would be, a 6-6 team. If anyone expected better, especially after we saw what Mizzu and Aurburn are, is just plain ignorant. It's time for perspective, something's you can't get from a drive thru in 30 seconds. Somet times it actually takes work and effort, no instant results

Besides the last 2 sentences, how can someone really "like" that post. "just sayings" are pointless and IQ lowering quotes from Kool Aide drinkers.

This truth won't go over well.

These excuses are all headed your way...

UT has no talent
UT has no speed
CBJ should be given three presidential terms to right the ship
Disregard what Auburn, Missouri, and Even Ole Miss has done in short time.
It's Dooley's fault
Kiffin too
Dammit Phil

Left out Bammer.

Ha! We are damn close to being a 5-7 team or worse. 6-6 would be most welcome!

They won 3 of those games so he is doing his job. He is the greatest receiver in SEC history and will hold all the records that matter by the end of the season!

So you're just saying these posters should have resisted the urge to contribute to this thread. See what I did there? I'm one of those fans.

Matthews is a good receiver, but you're definitely giving Vandy too much credit and humping James Franklin's leg nonstop.
