Not true. The Vols have talent, but it can only be found on part of the first-string and there is no one to back that up.
True. Palardy is clearly one of our fastest guys. No offense to our RBs, but after watching fast, explosive running backs dominate the SEC, our guys just look like molasses. Sutton will be good, but I'm probably faster than all of our other DBs and LBs. Then again, I'm a fast guy.
Ignorant point. CBJ should be given a fair amount of time. That amount will be dictated by how much we progress or digress each year.
Worst point you've made. Mizzou has had stability for a while, and they've been at least a decent team for a while. Last year they were adjusting to the SEC style of play. How did TAMU excel? Johnny Football. Without him, they would have been in the same boat as Missouri. Auburn had/has tons of talent on the field, that they were able to obtain from the Malzahn-OC/Cam Newton days. Remember, they were national champs a few years ago. Finally, Ole Miss is not as solid as people seem to think. Last year they went 6-6 in the regular season with a fairly easy SEC schedule/route. Miraculou$ly, they pull the nation's #1 recruiting class, and this year they are on track to win a game or two more. Aren't we doing the same thing? (hopefully minus paying players..)
I'll allow this. Two incompetent men that couldn't coach or evaluate talent. I think Butch is the direct opposite.
They won 3 of those games so he is doing his job. He is the greatest receiver in SEC history and will hold all the records that matter by the end of the season!
This truth won't go over well.
These excuses are all headed your way...
UT has no talent
UT has no speed
CBJ should be given three presidential terms to right the ship
Disregard what Auburn, Missouri, and Even Ole Miss has done in short time.
It's Dooley's fault
Kiffin too
Dammit Phil
All I did was prove you wrong about him being unstoppable. So what they won 3 of those games? Also the only record he will own is the career receiving yards and that's only because he started as a freshman and started all 4 years. He is nowhere close in any of the other major categories. Get real.
Tennessee is a national brand and has always been relevant, for better or worse. Vandy on the other hand has about the same prestige and tradition that Kentucky does. You guys aren't relevant. You just think you are.It took 1 year when they hired a great coach, started building first class facilitys and finally treated football seriously! How long will it take Tennessee football to be relevant again?

despite the 2 bad years between BJ and JF, there was clearly a foundation laid by BJ whereby VU was able to redshirt some guys and build a level of depth that they had not previously enjoyed. Depth + sound fundamentals + an uptick in recruiting at some skill positions = where VU is now.It took 1 year when they hired a great coach, started building first class facilitys and finally treated football seriously! What Franklin has done at Vandy will land him a sweet gig at a big school. He deserves credit for what he's done at Vandy.. That game will be Vandy -3 , -2 or pick um. I've watched them play a few games. They play less sloppy then we do. Anyone not wearing orange tented glasses would favor Vandy in that game. This is where our program is right now get over it..
