I see an easy way to solve this question of facts vs fiction .. strap two bags of U.S. dollars, and a bucket of fried chicken to her , and the two CNN cameramen with her , drop them off in the center of Caracas with a Fox cameraman in a helicopter above them filming the whole thing . Shouldn’t take long to get the truth out to us .

Heartbroken mother Elizabeth Díaz was forced to carry her daughter's body, which weighed just 22 pounds, through the streets to a morgue.

Díaz visited a local Integral Diagnostic Center [CDI] in the northern city of Valencia on Saturday night but was immediately turned away by doctors because their shift had ended because the facility didn't have any electricity.

The mother was advised to visit another medical center in Las Lomas where she was assured the staff could provide treatment for her daughter's cerebral palsy and chronic malnourishment.

I was in Venezuela 8 years ago. Chavez was in Cuba seeking cancer treatment at the time. The people were pacified with WiFi, smart phones and food. Other than Cuban cigars and Solera beer, there wasn't much worth buying. People would fly to Miami just to get car parts. They had banned guns but it was common to see soldiers with automatic weapons on the streets. It was definitely dangerous in the cities. The rain forest was wonderful though.
