VFL's in MLB and MiLB

Well crap. I guess I won't bet getting it unless I find it on Front Row Sports.

I subscribe but I'm also on central time. I really enjoy watching him pitch. When he's in the rotation, I can stay up for his starts. When he's in the pen, I have trouble staying up for a maybe appearance in the late innings. I also seldom miss a Dickey start with my subscription.

AJ went 4/5 tonight with a double, 3 runs, an RBI, a BB and a K...he's batting .259

GBO!!!

Godley got the win in 7 1/3 innings of 2R ball. Also had a hit himself.

Final line:

7.1 IP
5 H
2 R
2 BB
4 SO

That's the deepest into a game he has ever pitched in the majors. Really good outing. Gave up a run off of a wild pitch in the 1st and then shut 'em down until he gave up a run in the 8th.

Will Maddox named postseason all-star for Midwest League. 5 or 6 hits away from single season record for the Whitecaps. Senzel continues to make it look easy. Simcox and Stewart finishing solid seasons. I wouldn't be surprised if Stewart gets invited to Arizona Fall League. Andrew Toles seems to have locked in a spot with the Dodgers. Vincent Jackson having solid season in New York-Penn League. Andy Cox pitching out of the bull pen in Billings has been solid last several games, ERA is a little high becasue of a couple of rough innings, overall good start for him. I still think if Cox can get fully healthy he has a chance to make some noise.

Godley starting tonight against Cincy at 8:10pm ET. Dickey goes tomorrow vs the Twins at 1:07 pm ET

MLB.TV is running a special, $9.99 for the rest of the season gets you all out of market games. You have to remember to cancel before March if you do not want to be automatically renewed next year.

Yea, that's a great deal. Sept is a great month for MLB baseball. Division races, call ups, etc.

I subscribe year round but I'm an MLB junkie.

Godley's gonna smoke tonight. I can feel it.
MLB.tv is worth $9.95 just to watch Godley pitch through Sept.

Rough night for Godley. He lasted only 2 innings giving up 9 runs, 9 hits and 3 home runs. All 5 runs in the 2nd came with two outs.

Yea, he allowed me to get in bed early last night. Lol.
Tough night.

Will maddox set new season hit record for the whitecaps. He currently has 167 hits playing in 117 games. In this last 11 years, the single season high for the midwest league is 169, set by former and now big leaguer with the Dodgers, Andrew Toles. Maddox should pass that records. The league record was set in 1956 and is 203 hits (dont know how many games they played). Vincent Jackson has stepped up the last part of the season in the New York Penn league, has begun to show some power. With his size and speed if he can hit with a little more power he could move quickly. Drew Steckinrider continues to close for AAA, had one bad outing the other day, but beside that has done very well. You would think he could be September call-up.

FWIW, after todays game Nick is hitting .329, 23 doubles, 3 triples, 7 HR's in 210 at bats.....would be 4th in the league in hitting however he doesn't have the required minimum at bats. Will Maddox is 2nd in the league hitting .341

Christin Stewart is on the roster for the Salt River Rafters in the Arizona Fall League.

Prospect to watch: Christin Stewart -- The Tigers' No. 3 prospect did something no one ever does in the Florida State League -- he hit for power. His 24 homers for Lakeland still lead the circuit, even though he hasn't played there since early August, and are 10 more than anyone hit in the FSL in 2015. However, he's struggled some with a .211 average and three homers in 20 games for Double-A Erie. The AFL will offer another chance to prove he can handle tougher pitching and gain some positive momentum going into his second offseason.

Can't wait to see the Smokies return to downtown Knoxville! Saw again where Randy Boyd is continuing to buy up downtown property for it.
