Congrats Senzel! Godley starting tonight. In that last 3 games Maddox has seem to get back on track, with 7 hits in his last 12 at bats, with a homer, triple, 2 doubles. He was out with an injury for about a month and had struggled for the next several weeks. Andy Cox had been pitching well in Reds organization. I saw he was on the 7 day dl. Anyone have any news? Is Drake Owenby back pitching?

Godley is through 7 and has retired the last 13 batters in a row. Struggled in the first and gave up a HR but has been completely dominant since. DBacks up 9-1.

Nick Senzel went 2-4 last night in his second game at AA Pensacola. He was 0-4 in his first game.

RA Dickey is in a groove with his knuckleball right now. He pitched another gem yesterday vs Brewers.

Lol! MLB Channel just showed a highlight of the HR Godley gave up. They said it was the second lowest pitch ever hit for a HR in the statcast era.

Stewie hit 2 more homers in a game this weekend. Sounded like he crushed both of them. If the Tigers become sellers at the trade deadline he might get a chance to be a late season call up. He keeps crushing the ball.

Godley getting the start tonight against the Cardinals, should be an easy win for him, especially if the Cards have to use the bullpen.

If 2017 road version of Wainwright shows up you maybe right. He has like a 9.50ERA on the road this year.

Godley took the loss in a 4-3 game.

He had not given up a hit through 3 but struggled with command in the 4th. In the 4th he walked 2, advanced a runner on a wild pitch, hit a batter, and gave up 2 singles. Then he came out and dominated for 3 more innings.

Freddie Patek was listed at 5'6" and at his time, was the shortest player in the major leagues. Once a reporter asked him how it felt to be the shortest player in the major leagues to which Patek replied: "a (heckuva) lot better than being the shortest player in the minor leagues."
