AJ got a solo homer of his own, his first of the season...

Nick went 2/3 with an RBI, 1 2B, 2 BB, 1 SO, 3 SB...he's batting .379 and if he had enough at bats he'd be leading the Midwest League.

Will Maddox went 3/4 with an RBI, he's batting .349...

Dang! Another former Vol on FIRE! That makes 3 former Vols on Fire right now. Maddox, Senzel, & Stewart. Andy Cox wasn't doing too bad a couple weeks back so I need to check & see how he's doing now. GO VOLS!

BTW, another reminder about tomorrow night. Stewart will be starting in probably LF for team USA in the Futures Game on MLB Network at 7 PM EST.

Diamondbacks sent Shelby Miller down to Reno. Zack Godley will get another spot start Tuesday against the Blue Jays. Blue Jays have been red hot on offense. When Zack gets the win it's going turn some heads.

Article I read said that Godley will be a part of the 4 man rotation. Sounds like a good opportunity for him to finish out the year in the majors.

I saw it reported that way also. 4 man rotation until Greinke returns with Zack in that rotation. I hope that's the case.

Big game for Godley tonight. Needs to keep them in the game and eat up innings. He sure looks like a solid 3 or 4 starter to me. Throws strikes, just goes out a does his job.

Nick just led off the 6th with a HR. Tripled in the 1st and singled. A double away from the cycle with at least 1 more at bat and possibly 2....
