Living in GA I won't even get started on Vick! My wifes dad is a Falcons season ticket holder of 5 years and he's about ready to sell them as long as Vick is a Falcon.

He might not have to wait very long for the Falcons to unload Vick . . .

From ESPN.com

Michael Vick has been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with the dogfighting probe of his house in Virginia.
The Falcons quarterback was indicted for conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and to sponsor a dog in animal fighting venture in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District in Richmond, Va. Three others -- Purnell Peace, Quanis Phillips and Tony Taylor -- also were indicted by the grand jury on the same charges.

It's starting to look like the Joey Harrington era is getting closer in Atlanta.

The Falcons are stuck with Vick for one more year because of what it would do to their salary cap to dump him. Supposedly after next year it becomes much more manageable to get rid of him.

At least I know not to even bother to turn on sports radio here for the next couple or three days.

I believe there might be a 'behavior' clause in his contract. I don't know if this is fact or how it affects the cap.

The bad part is that Vick told the NFL Commish that he was not involved. So now he lied to the Commish. Wonder if the new Commish keeps the hardline attitude he's already displayed?

"The indictment alleges that the 27-year-old Vick and his co-defendants began a grisly dogfighting operation in early 2001 in which dogs fought to the death -- or close. Losing dogs were sometimes killed by electrocution, drowning, hanging or gunshots."

I sure hope Nike faces some fallout for stupidly standing by him as more and more truth about Vicks debauchery came to light. Shame on you Nike! I love your shoes but now I may have to wear addidas!

Vick needs to face electrocution, drowning, hanging and gunshots

:yes::thumbsup::clap:

Yeah he does! Freaking psycho! :realmad: I'm not one of these crazy animal rights people but this was just pure evil what he did. If you read that article there was even an incident where one of the dogs was slammed to death. In other words one of those big thugs picked the poor dog up and slammed it to the ground causing death. Man, how wickedly evil can people get? I hope Vick does the whole six years and gets kicked out of the league and loses his contract.

He will be forced to sit in an isolated room with Teddyhead and converse with him for 8 hours a day for the next 4 years.

Clearly that would be a violation of his 8th Amendment rights protecting him against cruel and unusual punishment.
