The fact that they are even able to propose this idea publicly , not to mention get it passed , without any fear whatsoever , is scary .
What I keep telling them is it comes around. At some point in the not so distant future it will be someone they dont like in power. The fact that they are even able to propose this idea publicly , not to mention get it passed , without any fear whatsoever , is scary .

I would imagine LG, evil, luther, etc could go to jail if this applied to Trump.
actually it won't hold up to it's definition of the word "harassment"...much too broad legally in this contextThat bill would be constitutional in VA. It is based on the following existing law:
Threatening the president of the United States is a federal felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the president of the United States".
Imho, I think it’s possible that it ceases to be a national party and will become a regional party. Florida and eventually Texas will turn blue and it will be partially because the republicans helped the democrats dig their own grave. After 40 years of “conservatism”, Republicans have almost nothing to show for it.Trump isnt the party, what do you think happens when he is no longer president? It dies off? Will it fundamentally change?
