Rough, indeed. Definitely attracted the conspiracy theorist forum. Both sides…Sorry, been a day up in here.
Sure has. At my age, I didn't think there'd be much involving UT sports that would catch me by surprise. Vitello getting suspended got me....and good. No pun intended, but that came out of left field. Right now, I'm girding my loins for UT to issue a press release saying he's been terminated or he's resigned. Yeah, that's a bit melodramatic, but around the UT athletic department, you never say never. Gotta dig thru the attic and see if I have an old mattress and fire starters to donate to the cause...just in case.Sorry, been a day up in here.

Just out of curiosity, was that your stance last year when we were dominating?Wishful thinking on your part!
This whole situation is what happens when you run your mouth all the time and let your players act like cocky brats with bad sportsmanship! Makes him an easy target! I like TV, but he needs to grow up some and dial it back and establish some discipline in himself and team!
….some Italians understand nuance and some don’t!
He is doing what is best for the entire athletic department. We still have an open case with the football team, so we need to demonstrate that we are able to identify potential issues and take the appropriate actions. Our AD's actions may have been different if the football case was already resolved. Is he weak OR is he doing what’s best for the whole team in the long run?

I couldn't have said it better myself.I agree with all of this, and I don't see this "tampering" issue involving Ahuna becoming a serious matter. That kind of thing is happening everywhere ... but having said that, Battered Vol Syndrome doesn't arise purely from delusions.
Remember during the regionals last year when Troy Eklund of ESPN said on-air that Evan Russell had been suspended for PED's and the NCAA was forcing the rest of our team to be tested before we could take the field again?
We are not imagining things. At times, it seems like somebody really has it in for us.
Definitely because instead of remaining focused on the games and performance needed to make and advance in CWS, they were more concerned with showboating! I’m all for having fun, but they were over the top with stupidity and it bit them in the ass!Just out of curiosity, was that your stance last year when we were dominating?
Then AD is weak as hell, although im sure the AA had some imput.

would not be surprised that this is what happens!I have no inside info, but I do have a read on what I believe is happening. I think this 3-game suspension closes the book on the whole Ahuna situation. Meaning, the announcement that UTAD has stated will come Monday, will be that CTV has been reinstated and Ahuna will be immediately eligible to play.
