I think the issue is that the logo is used by so many schools that it can’t really be exclusively trademarked. I’ve seen some version or another used by Texas, Tulane, and even Toledo

The modern branding concept requires exclusivity so the Power T is differentiated enough to be used by Tennessee exclusively. Texas uses more of a block T.

The interlocking UT is perfect as a baseball logo. It needs to be used for that. I think the power t looks great at midfield for football and don’t have a problem with that.

I think we can. From listening to the interview he gave yesterday, it sounds like they are working out the nitty gritty details for LNS upgrades. As he said, it’s complicated. So, it may take more time to hash things out. I’m okay with them taking as much time as needed, because stadium upgrades are really important and will have a long term impact.

He also talked about the future and made reference to things 5 years from now, so I don’t think we need to worry about him leaving for another job.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion and expressing it, except that he seemed to suggest that he was privy to inside information. He also spoke of "reading the tea leaves", but then wouldn't expand on what he was talking about. Now, he just comes across as a stubborn know-it-all who can't admit when he was wrong.
