our "Sea of Orange" at football games was becoming a hodgepodge of orange, blue, black, navy, green, etc, and limiting to primary apparel to mostly orange and white will send it back in the right direction.

will UT sell any other colors in the bookstore from now on except orange and white??

Stitched. The jerseys in the Florida game last year were screened because of a problem at the manufacturer, but other than that we've had stitched numbers since 2005.

Not sure how old you guys are but for the '86 Bama game at home UT wore orange jerseys, orange pants, and orange shoes. WOW! That was a sight.

I think UT donated the orange turf shoes to somewhere in Russia.

Wearing practice cleats. Same model as the orange/white cleats from the fall, just wear black in practice. Spring practice they wear a mix of why was left over.

As I understand it, they'll just be going back to the orange collar from 2010 and the Florida game in 2011.

They want to separate the numbers a little but so they don't look bunched up, but that will cause problems with the Techfit, the numbers will be all over the place if they're not in the center panel. That's ongoing.

You can't make the numbers much bigger, the jerseys getting smaller and tighter is what has caused the smaller numbers over the years.

I know the team hasn't "played fancy" yet, but I'd love to get an outline on the home jerseys. Gray, silver, black--whatever (e.g. Okie State, away basketball jerseys). There's just not enough contrast of the orange and white when the sun is on them.
