Based off that bracket, if we were able to slide in at the 11 spot for the playoff and play Penn State and Miami, that would be incredible.

Hopefully Indiana gets blasted on Saturday.

The bottom line is there is a lot of cannibalism opportunities afoot with the teams above and below us. I'm happy... The biggest thing that can happen to us in the SEC that doesn't involve Texas, Bama, Ole Miss, or Georgia is Vandy beating LSU. I would laugh my ass off if Vandy is 7-4 when we play them with wins over LSU and Bama

- Oregon will play either Indiana, OSU or PSU in the conference championship game
- Texas, Bama, Ole Miss, or UGA will play in SEC championship game (it would take a lot of crazy stuff for us to make that game)
- Miami is on a collision path with SMU if they get by Syracuse in two weeks

Other key matchups are with Notre Dame (Army and at USC)

At this point in the year, teams that lose seem to drop at least 4 to 5 positions with teams that win moving up.

We need to take care of business and Vandy (... I don't like typing this because it seems crazy but it is true ...) is not the Vandy of recent years so we need to be up and ready.

There is no doubt that if Army beats Notre Dame and we win like we should - we should move out of the "first out spot" into at least the last in.

Pretty sure Ohio state tapping out Indiana will do it. And committee gets to save face by putting Indiana as first team out- and they can move back in when the next of those seven loses.
