How is the preseason media poll better than the coaches poll? I would put my trust in an actual mechanic instead of someone that googled how to change a radiator on youtube.

Easy now, I've learned how to do plenty on youtube. Lots of professional mechanics get their kicks doing how to vids. AND get paid too.

That's a terrible comparison. That isn't this. Coaches with games at 3:30 aren't watching 4 other games that begin at noon.

Coaches have games recorded that matter to them. Watch 'em Sunday Nights. Edited versions of course. I bet the media poll will mirror the coaches.

You don't see a bunch of differences. I was really referring to in-season and final polls. Most of the coaches polls aren't actually done by the coaches anyway. Usually someone in the SID

Yes, because it likely isn't coaches but SID people. Even if it is coaches, they don't analyze teams from all over the country
