Vols APR Rate Is More Serious Than Most Think

wow this guy really doesn't seem to understand how the APR works...

Yes Fulmer, Kiffin and Dooley were all indirectly responsible for our low APR---that is partly true, but it's more about the fact that with each coach firing, a new coach almost always deals with a lot of attrition to the roster. Thus we had a lot of transfers out of UT for various reasons, i think about 35% of players typically leave when a new coach comes in. Kiffins class, fonr instance, 65% of his class ended up leaving, this all effects a colleges APR score....

People have been complaining about transfers counting against the APR for years...its pretty dumb IMO...

Also when kids leave early for the NFL and dont finish their degree...again hurts your APR.... We've had more than our fair share of guys that have done that. CP, JH, TB just to name a few recents.....

Unlike this moron writer, CBJ understands how the APR works and has hired the guy from Missouri to take over the thorton center.....There are a ton of things you can do besides just having your current football class do well in the classroom to fix your APR......

They will appeal select academic cases and get points added back to previous years APR's....medical issues, transfers with legitimate reasons not related to academic or football related problems etc......

They already are having tons of former UT lettermen re-enroll and finish out their degrees as part of the VFL program...which again will add mucho points back to our APR...etc...

This past semester plus our summer semester our team had one of the highest team GPA's in the past 20 years....

This poster that copied and pasted this nonsense from the tennessean doesn't know jack ****.
