Garbage. Not likely to change, so maybe we’ll get NC in the orange or a good opponent in cotton bowl. I really would’ve loved the sugar bowl

They have FL State ahead of LSU due to head to head and they have Oregon State ahead of Oregon due to head to head. TN is the only one they threw that rationale out the window with. That's why folks are furious.

Why would Bama jump TCU if TCU were to lose?

TCU has better wins
TCU has a better SOR
TCU will have a “similar” SOS
TCU will have fewer losses
TCU would have played an extra game

No one has a shot to get in “over” TCU at this point, unless K-ST utterly stomps them.

Now ask yourselves this. If the situation was reversed. If Tennessee had lost to Alabama but beat South Carolina this year, and Alabama went on to lose a second game (and Bryce Young), would the committee have ranked Tennessee ahead of Alabama?

I bet I know the answer to that one.

I’m not even sure the question really. Doesn’t make sense.

Tennessee lost bad, they lost their QB one of the best in the country. Tennessee then played and destroyed Vandy……….why would anyone think Tennessee would jump Bama after a Vandy win?

We certainly should never schedule a decent out of conference opponent ever again. Wins are essentially meaningless. Give me 12 UT-Martin quality wins and let’s march right to the playoff.

You needed to at least put up a fight against georgia if you wanted make a case. You didn't even show up. You didn't even get off the bus.

The committee is LICKING THIER CHOPS for an OSU/Michigan rematch. They are hoping against hope. Alabama has had them paid off for years. You had to give them SOMETHING against georgia. Instead, you were caught on the toilet with your pants down.

Winning the tOSU and UM game got their ticket punched. They would not go lower than 4. And tOSU can't jump them either. They're good.

If you’re going to play that game then what about Bama 2 plays away from having 2 more losses against A&M & ole miss? Their best win was against #20 Texas

Criteria means nothing to this playoff jokers!
They have rules they go by, but only if it favors them. I understand the SC lose killed us, no argument there, but….
Other than Hooker getting hurt, which by the way is NOT a criteria to rank a team, we put rank Bama in all of them.
1. Head to head
2. Strength of schedule
3. Top 25 wins
4. Common opponents
I’m sure there are a few more, but it doesn’t matter.
still been a great year and I’ll take a New Years 6 Bowl game!

Like I said, it’s the committees last ditch effort to get Alabama in. Guarantee if USC and TCU lose, both bama and Ohio state get in.

No team should be penalized due to a player injury. Thats BS. We beat Bama head to head and should be above them. End of story. This is straight trash. Zero credibility for these guys. I guess head to head doesnt matter and going forward every star player should be pulled as soon as we get a decent lead and make for garbage television when backups are running out the clock in the 2nd quarter after we are up 28-0. Then the argument would be we didn't have the needed style points and win big enough. Lame. I know we have no shot at the playoffs but these kids busted their a** and deserve the respect they earned during the regular season.
