Maddox gets the start, leading off and playing 2nd. Maddox strikes out.

Maddox grounds out to second in his 2nd at bat.

Maddox K's in his 3rd attempt.

Maddox flies out to Center.

Maddox goes 0-4 on the day, and the Hawks lose 7-0. The Hawks only managed 4 hits on the day.

Smart with a nice play to turn two...now coming to the plate...goes down swinging...he's batting .278 so far.

Smart grounds out in his second attempt...

He's made a couple of really nice plays, but did get an E on a routine play.

Smart, with bases loaded and 1 out...goes down swinging.

Smart with a hard hit fly out to Center.

Smart with a perfect sac bunt, moves runners to 2 and 3.

The Red Sox come from behind and win 8-4.

Through 3 innings Esparza has 4 K's no walks, given up a few hits (4?)...No runs.

WOW, Esparza with 6K's through 4...His D totally let him down, 2 errors, some bad throws...he gave up a run, but with bases loaded he struck out 2 batters in a row.

Gotta take the good with the bad, lol...he allowed a two out home run, his 3rd of the year, a team high...he hit 87 on the radar gun...more to come...

Esparza went through the 5th before getting the hook, I'll have to check the stats, but the Bullfrogs have just made their 4th error, on the 1st pitch of the replacement. He did well, not as well as last week.

Lee flies out to Lt. in his first at bat.

Aiken grounds out to 1st.

Lee gives one a ride to Rt., caught at the wall, a little more down the line and it would've been gone.

Lee makes a great play at first with a nice stretch and scoop.

Aiken grounds out to 2nd on his 2nd at bat.

Lee grounds out to 2nd with runners on the corners and 2 outs to end the inning. Blues trail 7-5.

Nice at bat by Aiken, he got behind, worked full and drew a walk.
Aiken moves to 2 on a SAC Bunt.

Lee pops up to 3rd.

Aiken K's with a runner on 1st, and 1 out.

Charpie did not get the call this evening as the Big Train absolutely destroyed the other team, I'll keep trying to watch for him.

I'm with ya, really liked him...If he could be a weekend starter, MAYBE Williams could move back to closer.

So...I'm down to my last early game, the pitcher for the SLO Blues, has given up 7 runs and I'm hoping we see Serrano...Nope, They bring in Grayson Long from A&M. Meh, it's just the 4th Inning.

This. Heck if nothing else a good solid mid relief guy who could give 2-3 solid innings when we need it. Starter, mid relief, closer. Got a live arm, we can use ya...LOL

I guess we'll have to wait and see how he progresses, seem like a good kid from what I can tell. Based on his twitter seems like he's enjoying the SF Bay area. Wish he'd tweet when he's gonna be in the rotation.:)
