OMFG please read the ****ing comments. All that I said was UT fans can't criticize Penn St for being one dimensional when UT is also very one dimensional. Get off my damn back!

I'm not criticizing our team I'm calling out the poor thought of others logic.

Tennessee is being viewed by those who make the decisions as having a very poor offense. It's not my opinion and I'm not tearing the team down it's just a fact. You can bring up total yards but total yards don't matter near as much as scoring points when you ought to.

It also doesn't help that the only team we beat that is impressive at all now is Bama.

Florida sucks, Oklahoma sucks, NC St sucks. These are NOT good looks for Tennessee and the reason why we are viewed with huge questions marks.

How Tennessee is being viewed by the polls is very understandable and only Tennessee can change that perception by stomping some teams. That's just the world we live in now.
Florida played toe to toe with Georgia yesterday until late in the 4th qtr

That isn’t what I’ve heard. Seems to me like Tennessee is viewed as a team that has the best defense in college football and and offense that is very close to putting it all together. Also viewed as having an offense that continues to get better as the season progresses. In other words, Tennessee is viewed as the scariest team in the SEC.

In spite of that very oddly chosen stance, Florida is 4-4, unranked and 12th in the SEC and they still have to play TX, LSU and Ole Miss so most likely a 5-7 football team who will almost certainly lose their head coach and not go to a bowl.

The higher they are ranked the better we look. I’d them to take care of LSU and smear mud on A&M’s biggest win.
I just can’t root for Bama in that game. We put ourselves in this position by losing to Arkansas, I say if we can’t win out and don’t get in then so be it. I don’t want the Gumps anywhere near the playoff.

I’ve visited both and idk man. OSU is a nice little city but it’s nothing but corn fields from all directions leading in and flat as a pancake.

Bloomington is at the base of the mountains and its rolling hills leading to the Appalachians. I think it’s a pretty area particularly in the fall.

A joke in Indiana is that “the south” starts south of Indy. They even have the start of a southern accent from Bloomington SOUTH.
I wasn’t really referring to the environs around Cbus, more just Ohio in general. Southeast Ohio is Appalachia and northeast Ohio is very pretty with a lot of rolling hills as well.

They have the money and he’s been quoted as saying money isn’t a thing for him and his wife and his wife loves it in Bloomington and as long as he feels supported by the admin he’s fine to stay there.

Of course…that can be all coach speak idk. Just throwing it out there
He’s also 63 years old and doesn’t seem to be looking to climb the ladder. He’s in his twilight of his coaching career.

I've definitely not heard anyone say UT is the scariest team in the SEC. What I've heard is that we went 3 straight games without scoring a 1st half point for the first time in decades and that UT only has a 67% chance of making the playoffs and they are out of the discussion if they don't beat Georgia.

People in the media praise our defense as they well should it's the best in the country but the offense can get this team beat and people are just waiting for it to happen to count UT out. UT just hasn't been impressive enough given our relatively (now) weak schedule. It's all hurting our chances.

I agree. I think he finally got to where he wanted. A chance in a major conference and a program he can become a legend at in a short time, make a lot of money, live somewhere he and his wife loves, and coast into the sunset.

I don’t see him leaving for an extra million if he’s getting paid millions either way.

He’s gonna stay at IU

Almost exactly what you see in the AP poll…I think they will rank us 6 above Penn St though like we are in the coaches poll
I agree with this. Although I think us, Indiana, and BYU will be 6-7-8. Penn State at 9 and Alabama or ND at 10. I know Bama has two losses but that win over Georgia is huge.

Ohio State is not good, let’s be real here.
I've seen a lot of OSU games this year and they are clearly beatable but there aren't many teams that can beat them. Oregon is obviously one and maybe Georgia I think they would beat Texas or anyone else in the SEC this year.

OSU isn't nearly as good as they have been in the past but this can be said about A LOT of teams in CFB this year. I think they are right where they belong.

So even if it means Tennessee missing the playoffs, you want Alabama to lose?

UT fans have no business criticizing one dimensional offenses 😂 😂 😂 our offense is one running back and the occasional tight end at this point.
If you can’t tell the difference in talent your blind. We may not be clicking but they don’t have the talent on offense period! GBO

That 67% is currently 74%, and only 6 teams have better odds. We are definitely not out of the discussion with a UGA loss.

I want us to run the table and Bama to be out. If it came down to a scenario where they had to win then I could probably stomach it.

I don’t think IU will be ranked above Penn St…they will get their OSU loss in a few weeks as well…
