'24 Vols Transfer Offers

If we lose Staes to Georgia that will be a major indictment on our tight end recruiting imo.

Georgia has three 4 stars at the position returning and also have Redell committed who is one of the best tight ends this cycle.

Not saying we will, but that would be very alarming given the other misses at the position already.
Unless they tell him he will start there and that's significant because he's from Georgia

All I know is UT had no problem slicing and dicing that defense at ease. Honestly didn't seem like UTSA belonged on the same field.
Lol so did Tulane 🤣
Brazzel 2 TD's 5 rec 93 yards.

The longest coming against a 2 time 1st all conference defender that you ragged on.

UTSA finished a solid 8-4.

We made them look bad because when we had things rolling we were as good as anybody.

We didn't have a 20-7 lead at Bama for no reason.

UTSA isn't a cream puff.

No Dingle is the backup plan to Staes. Sharp was always the 3 deep plan for the TE room regardless of Dingle or Staes.
Staes is the real deal

Would be very happy with Dingle, but Staes looks very legit.

Would like for Staes to recreate this performance against NC State.

Not rumors, IF he leaves UGA, he’ll have a spot up here

Think we all prefer Staes, but the references I am seeing from VQ and elsewhere is you take the 1st commitment. More likely is Dingle.

None of that had anything to do with my post. That scenario you described is exactly the same as what I described. The posters that watch a 2min highlight reel and then declare one of our recruits to be the next All-American to play for UT is doing the same thing. Know what you know. Know what you don't know. And use common sense in life. Recognize when other people have not only more intellect in a certain situation but even more importantly recognize when they have far more intel. That is what my post was referencing.
The point was that you were one of multiple responses I replied to becuase I stated a negative opinion of a player we are targeting. I've made many positive renarks about recruits too. The positive ones receive likes. But I make one ir two negative ones and I get all sorts of pushback. It's one thing fo disagree, but to throw insults like some do is boggling.

Whether you meant to or not, by responding, just like oyhers did to my post, it looks like you were right along with them. Hope you keep the same energy and actually post it to people who have quick-snap positive responses too.

It may have been less about your evaluation of the prospect and more about...well, exactly what his response stated--trusting the staff over you.

At first blush, it looks like your opinion is at odds with the staff's, on a Volunteer Football recruiting board. Probably shouldn't be surprised if someone of several someones pipe in to respond. And if you posted something positive about a recruit the staff is going after, you'd probably get a lot of agreement, or a mountain of folks who wouldn't feel the need to answer.

Interestingly, there are also lots of people who post positively about recruits (in disagreement with who the staff is trying to get) that also get "I'll trust the staff over you" responses as well. i.e. "Man, player XXX is amazing, our staff just can't close." -- "You have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, or even what they're recruiting for, so I'll trust the staff over your opinion any time."

Even though he's not the same type of player, UGA is going try to sell the isht out of their development of Brock Bowers to Staes.
Bowers was a freak when he showed up in Athens. They certainly rode Bowers’ talents, but I’m not so sure the GA staff developed him.

I agree.

Don't wanna wait and lose both.

Staes looks freakish, but Dingle is plenty good enough. Solid argument that Dingle is better too, since he's been productive for years in the SEC.

Any idea what each will demand in NIL $? Might would prefer Dingle if his asking price is significantly less than Staes’

Really? Just throwing the ball out on the field and letting them draw plays up in the dirt I guess. Kirby over on the sidelines investing in crypto.

So if Nico balls out then it’ll be bc he’s a freak and not bc Heup developed him?

I'd rather hold out for Staes, who appears to be more talented. Considering we pursued him first; I feel like the coaches must think he's more talented as well.
