I hate to hear the majority of the Bama fans talk about their 6.2 million National titles and watch them drool over Bryant's dead carcass. As much as I hate that and enjoy them losing, I think that at the present time, I enjoy watching the SEC kicking butt and hearing the rest of the country piss and moan about all the attention the SEC gets because of it.

he is referring to Fulmer
I'm not a Fulmerite, to be clear...I was just pointing out that we usually would bring in one or more guys from Texas a year, under the Orange Pumpkin...so, I'm really surprised that we haven't heard a peep about Garza pulling anyone in from the state....or having us in the running for some of their top players.

I'm sure CLK hired him largely to recruit in that state, and from what I can gather, he ain't getting 'er done.

Its kind of hard to when Texas averages 10 or 11 wins a year

I think that the difference is that we are going after kids that the bigger Texas schools want. We took D. Moore as a package with Creer and we all know how underrated Moore turned out to be. Stephens was down to UT and Ole Miss and would have gone to Ole Miss if Snead did not transfer.

Even if we do get Texas kids we have a hard time keeping them here. Moore is an exception, but most of them leave before their 4 years are up.

An awful lot of those commits from Texas guys (we probably averaged 1 a year over the last decade) were from guys most of us would have a hard time remembering. I doubt they were nearly as coveted as Seastrunk, Nelson, and Dixon. The only Texas recruits I can recall having even a little impact on the team are Corey Campbell, Cody Douglas, Lennon Creer, Nick Stephens, and Denarious Moore.

When The Fired Coach got Texas players to come to UT it was usually because the in-state schools didn't want them. He only had to beat out Baylor for Nick Stephens.

to be hounest, bama loosing would be a better thing for Tennessee. or would it? by all accounts we should have beat them. I have a feeling texas is going to win. we showed texas the blueprint on how to beat alabama.

stop ingram and put pressure on their crappy QB and you will win.

By the same token, Nebraska showed Bama the blueprint to beat Texas and Bama has a helluva lot more weapons to get the job done. I hate Bama but this game will be over by midway through the second quarter unless Texas has a miracle. This will be a curb stomping of epic proportions.

I disagree, but we will see. Bama has no one that can dominate like Suh did against the Texas o-line. Bama has a great defense, but Suh single handedly controlled the line of scrimmage in that game. I think this is going to be a very close game.

cody could stop the run big time. suh i think is a great player and had a great year but i think the media created him because this year was a boring h-race.

They where counting on a cacoy-tebow-bradford exciting race to the finish and big ratings. when they didint happen they created suh into some one man wrecking machine.

dont get me wrong he is a great player-but who was talking about him untill really the big 12 championship game. i think the heisman is a joke now and is ajust a popularity race for ratings.
