When you look at this preseason poll it may worry you that we are ranked 10th in the SEC.

Well when you look at it closer you see we play 3 top 10 teams. (The three losses I referenced earlier) But after that our next toughest game is UF who is less than 10 spots ahead of us. Since we play them at home you gotta think we have a good shot at a upset there. Then Miss St is just barely ahead of us and we have them after the bye and NC ST is right behind us.

So those look to be the 3 swing games between 6-6 and 9-3. I think we win all three and go 9-3.

BOOM!

With FL's Offense looking quite shaky next year they will lean on the defense and special teams even more. Their Defense is good enough to keep them in low scoring games and if they can control verticle field position it helps a struggling Offense a ton.

So those 3 points detemine that game for us:
1. Grind down their defense with ball control and just wear them down.
2. Stop the run and get after the QB. Most likely not going to be as big as a worry as the other two
3. Reliable is the word of the day. No more complete meltdown (Arky punt), no more kicking it at the oline (Vandy), and no more punts that fail to flip field postion (Every Game).
Here is to a better 2012! GBO! :loco:

And no more errant snaps from our centers!! That was brutal..

Haven't we already done this thread? Anyway, here goes:

N.C. State = W
GEORGIA STATE = W
FLORIDA = Toss up/Lean Win
AKRON = W
Georgia = L
Mississippi State = Toss up/Lean win
ALABAMA = L
South Carolina = Toss up/lean loss
TROY = W
MISSOURI = Toss up/Lean win
Vanderbilt = W
KENTUCKY = W

For those keeping count, 6 wins, 2 losses, 3 lean wins, 1 lean loss.

Realistically, I think we go 8-4 next year without any crazy injuries. Most likely losses being AL, GA, SC, and Missouri. Toss up on the bowl. I thought we were going 7-5 this year, which I think is about right without the Bray/Hunter injuries.

I don't get why people are so intimidated by NC state, they lost their entire WR corp 2 DLs and 2 linebackers. I don't care who you are, that's a rough batch of players to lose.

Also, we have this guy: University of Tennessee Athletics: Football

I think Tennessee goes 7-5 in 2013 losing to Oregon,Florida,Georgia,Alabama and South Carolina. I think Tennessee plays East Carolina in the Liberty Bowl.

I am glad this was bumped. We get to re-live the disaster that was last season all over again.

ahhh the off season optimism, its nice but i try to be level minded. Call me a negavol but... There's really no way in my eyes we win more than 8 games. Think about it, do we suddenly improve that much? I just don't see it.

Bump for attention whoring
