You know we weren't supposed to make it the last two years right? We weren't projected to make it after the mess Pearl left. We actually finished higher than projected both years. If we don't make it this year it will be a disappointment.

You strive to make the tourney every year, but our program will not do it. If you are Kentucky, it is a failure. Our football team is a failure if we don't have a winning season and go to a bowl. Call me whatever you want. I don't ****in care. It is a failure if we don't go this year, but it is not the norm at UT to go every year.

It's always a failure if u don't go to the tourney no matter who u r and what ur history is.

This year, I agree. Every year, no. But I am not changing people's minds. So be it.

There should be few exceptions. If you are a quality coach, and recruiting the right players then you should make the tourney every year. Numerous injuries is about the only reason to not make it.

Call me crazy. I fully expect the great University of Tennessee to no only make the tournament every year, I expect a win or two and the occasional sweet 16 and an eleate 8 every now and then. Just like i fully expect our football team to be in contention for the SEC east every year, win the SEC regularly (every 3 or 4 years) and a NC every so often.

Sorry, but I expect coaches who make millions per year preform. You must be young and raised in an era of mediocracy and haven't experienced what it is to be #1.

Not really. Very competitive. Just not miserable as others. Realize that it won't happen every year. I loved Bruce and wish he was still here. But he isn't, and his success is simply not the norm at UT.

That success should be the NORM here at UT! If other schools can do it we can do it to. I for 1 fully expect winning and championships to be the norm at UT!
