War in Ukraine

I’ll stick with stooges. And stick with that label for you also. They had cheap energy. Nuke energy. And they moroned themselves to be beholden to an authoritarian.
Well, they can always go back to nuke power... but that will be years down the line. In the meantime, their short sightedness and push for safe energy after Fukushima has gotten them to this point. I never said that they made wise decisions about their energy portfolio before now.

So are the Russian/Trump/Tucker Carlson apologists still okay with Russia invading and taking over Ukraine?

Hope our intelligence services are keeping an eye on TC and others at Fox who seem to be promoting the Putin line. It's okay if they come to that conclusion themselves. But I'm starting to wonder if there is not some actual corruption of Fox going on by the Russians.

Again, you are welcome to put full use to your deep inner passions of support for Ukraine by joining others in its defense. It might be like an adventure! Think of all the friendships you will form along the way!

Our intelligence agencies are part of the problem. TC, Putin or Trumpers are not the issue. This administration is going to pull is into an unnecessary regional conflict in Eastern Europe to achieve some corrupt gain for their business interests.

I wonder what you would be saying if Don Jr had business dealings in Country X and then just so happened that we end up stirring up war with that same country as soon as he got into office? You would probably say the same thing you probably said 20 years ago when Baby Bush went to war with Iraq...

I’m glad we agree they chose poorly and along with you take turns supporting Putin

I really don't understand you constantly defending oppressive regimes.

There just seems to be a huge incompatibility there with your opinions on everything else. I wish you could just call out all forms of tyranny or tyrannical leaders for what they are.
I just thought about your comment a bit more. It is a shame that we don't have more competent leadership in The West that we can rally behind. 2016 gave us a gift in Trump and around that same time we should have gotten Marine Le Pen instead of Macron in France. I would have expected a shift in the UK after Brexit during that time but I don't notice uch change there.

Don't blame me for The West having weak, corrupt leadership.

Nice bait. Let’s see who you hook.

Maybe people are more concerned about the mother ****er that has opened our borders and tried to fire everyone for not taking the equivalency of a flu shot. Last time I checked, it's not Putin.

A reach? Really? WTF were they discussing in that phone call then? What cookies they were going to pass out?
You’re greatly exaggerating the content of that phone call. Literally said nothing about Euromaiden. The “controversy” from that call was that it was insulting to the EU.

They already had a list of guys they had in place that they were going to plug in to be the president, sir. This was not a grassroots or democratic process. They couldn't manipulate the situation with Yanukovych there so they pulled the same card they used in Iraq and Libya and tried to pull in Syria.

The "f*** the EU" comment was the least controversial thing about that call.

It literally had nothing to do with finding a new president. They were discussing helping Ukrainian opposition parties reach a deal in the Ukrainian parliament. You can see it as unnecessary meddling, but there's no indication the USA or anybody created the opposition to Yanukovych in the first place. It's incredibly obvious when pro Russian parties got clobbered in the next election.

The Euromaiden protests were definitely based on Ukrainian desires to turn away from Russia and turn towards a richer, freer, more democratic Europe. Only one country is in denial about this.

Imagine one getting shot down trying to evacuate people…hello, World War III.

Let’s hope not, our culture and society isn’t prepared for that neither is Europe. It would make the Great Depression look like the Gilded Age. The vast majority of people have no clue what sacrifice or doing without actually looks like or having to wait in a bread line. There would be shootings, hoarding like never before, and looting on a scale no amount of law enforcement could control. Most stores only have enough food on their shelves and in the back for 3 days. That would go very quickly and resupply would be few and far between outside of stores near distribution centers.

You didn't answer the question.

At this point in the game, you need to be questioning just who exactly we are calling allies and who we are calling our enemies. You have intelligence agencies spying on a sitting president and on American citizens as they stand up and deny it and lie to your face... yet you believe they are going to inform you on who we should be going to war with.

Some of you see the bulls^^t but choose to ignore it.
I agree with you about distrust of our intelligence agencies, however there are actual satellite images detailing the massive military buildup by Russia on the Russia/Ukranian border. I don't need the intelligence agencies to tell me that Russia is setting up for an invasion

Edited to be more precise.

It's part of the Trumpster playbook to make Americans question anyone who dares to question him.
