See I dont get this. Just because they are good doesnt mean they are indestructible. Just because Russia or Ukraine is winning, doesnt mean they arent taking losses. Just because the US/NATO would win doesnt mean they wouldnt take losses.

Its war. People die. Stuff gets blown up.

Fun to see the Russians turn to the micro victories like Ukraine has done, to keep up moral at home. Guess they arent taking huge tracks of land anymore.

Imagine the outrage if the government negotiates to get these guys out, but not Brittney Griner eventhough those are separate issues. I don't think Russia negotiates anyway right now without making it embarrassing for this administration. These guys were on their own imo. It was brave but stupid.

With the war going so well for Russia, you wonder just what kind of retaliation Russia has in mind. Hopefully Ukraine continues hitting Russia where it hurts - and gets even better at it. About the only way to get a bully's attention is to inflict lots of pain when he starts something, and Ukraine owes Russia a lot of pain.

Hard to imagine the Russians embarrassing the biden administration any worse than the administration does all by itself.
