Perfect example of what I am saying. Taxes don't pay for jack. However, we just voted to send 4 times as much as this gas tax holiday to Ukraine.Yes, but who is financing this fiasco with money they don’t have?
Administration officials said the $10 billion cost of the gas tax holiday would be paid for and the Highway Trust Fund kept whole, even though the gas taxes make up a substantial source of revenue for the fund. The officials did not specify any new revenue sources.
Imagine the weeping and gnashing of teeth we would be seeing if Trump would have started a military conflict in a country that he had past business dealings with.Hunter Biden is an honorable fellow. I’m sure that all that business he and the big guy did there has nothing to do with the foreign policy decisions now.
Russia owned HRC they lost their leverage when she failed. They still have our uranium though
Seems HIMARS are unnerving the Russians...
Russia threatens to hit U.S. Embassy in Kyiv
Yurii Shvitkin, deputy chairman of the Duma Defense Committee and a deputy from the pro-government "United Russia" party, said that supplies of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) from the US are "moving step by step toward World War III".
He also called for a strike on the U.S. embassy in Kyiv due to deliveries of MLRS to Ukraine, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to lenta.ru.
Shvitkin said the United States' supply of multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine could have a major impact on the development of the war.
"It certainly complicates the situation quite seriously. It once again underscores the step-by-step movement toward World War III on the part of the United States. We have to understand that we have to react harshly. In my opinion, today the reaction should also take place on the countries supplied. arms. And not just destroy the infrastructure, etc., but I think the main decision-making center is the US embassy.I think that sooner or later it is a goal for the Russian armed forces, the "people's police" "DNR" and "LNR," - said the deputy .
There is a big difference between reporting facts and celebrating the Russians. Plenty on twitter and facebook reporting the war going badly for Ukraine. Only on FB but none of the three in field reporters I have followed have been blocked. Same on youtube, plenty of negative reports, losing ground, body counts, lost equipment or risks of cutoffs. Never been blocked or had issues that I have seen.Qualifiers?! It’s not my duty to offer this. That’s one of the reasons I don’t post much in here anymore…the emotional recoil becomes the whole discussion.
I’ve offered numerous alternative/independent links over the years…and the complaint is that it’s not “mainstream” enough. Every article concerning this war could be scrutinized for lack of truth, on both sides. Scrutinize all you want…believe what you want…but don’t expect people to appease you or your prejudice..
Multiple trusted independent sources that have real knowledge of the situation have been blocked on Twitter, FB, etc…mainly because they’re reporting Russia is winning, which they are..
I did the same when I thought about a camo'd AI robot warrior dog charging at a camp of russians with a bomb on its back. or outfitted with a Grenade launcher, or some hilljacked ish. strap a 20 mm cannon on it's back and watch it go to work.

Interesting thought, but you know these AI robotic dogs just might be smarter about blowing themselves up than a Muslim with a death wish.
Its a real thing. Google is your friend. But you need to get off those Russian sites if you really want to find out anything. Is this a serious post? You even say it yourself... "real world testing". This isn't proven to be able to do anything.

The reason the source matters at all, to me, is because the western or Ukrainian sources are rightly questioned. But then the russian stuff is posted without comment. How you guys treat the various sources is incredibly different. Volgr finds whatever armchair general generates the best sounding military terms and applies them without any real understanding of what the terms are, but he never will admit that a clear military novice may not know wtf he is talking about. Ras still posts articles that has gaping holes in the logic you could drive a semi through that he blocked me for in the first Ukraine thread. Donjo posts stuff and then just denies it was ever said, or that he didnt fully believe it, but only after the obvious bs has been called out.
Scrutinize and comment on the russian articles as much as you do the western articles and you can preach about the truth.
Lol. So, now it’s celebrating with the Russians if it’s not a source that you approve of? Or if it’s not scrutinized enough? Do you realize how childish this sounds?
The simple fact that Twitter blocked multiple trusted journalists and military analysts reporting on this war… because their interpretation didn’t have a western flavor…is all I need to know about where the truth comes from.
Vladimir Putin used the platform to advance the sweeping claim that the entire former Soviet Union was “historical Russia.”
Against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of one of its neighbors, the Russian president’s June 17 remarks could hardly fail to arouse alarm in other former Soviet states – like Kazakhstan, whose president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was sharing the stage with Putin.
Tokayev used the occasion to push back hard against territorial claims made on Kazakhstan by some Russian commentators, and to re-state his country’s refusal to recognize Moscow-backed breakaway territories of Ukraine.

No no, the "whataboutism" is only highlighting the double standard that many of you Ukrainiacs use when it deals with Russia/Ukraine vs any other incident. The whataboutism runs deep in here for russian fanbois.
But, whatabout.....but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout...........but whatabout......
I can assure you from a first hand account the defense industry absolutely gathers as much feedback from fielded systems performance and factors the results into product improvements Moe. The military in fact encourages this.Is this a serious post? You even say it yourself... "real world testing". This isn't proven to be able to do anything.
