It's been reported that the Ukrainian military has no problem using their own civilian population as shields. Which is no surprise considering what they have been doing to the civilians of the Donbas since 2014.

Ukrainian attacks on civilians have escalated the last few weeks, as they grow more desperate.

‘They were furious’: the Russian soldiers refusing to fight in Ukraine

"Under Russian military rules, troops who refuse to fight in Ukraine can face dismissal but cannot be prosecuted, said Mikhail Benyash, a lawyer who has been advising soldiers who choose that option."
Did you know Russians vote to elect their leaders too?

If you think a Russian soldier can walk off the line with no consequences you're dumber than I gave you credit for. Then there are the conscripts...

What Russia is sending to Ukraine are poor kids from the Russian boonies. Putin doesn't want to start sending middle class kids from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Then his popular support goes to pot.

Young, poor and from minorities: the Russian troops killed in Ukraine

Or there are very few rail lines left and the civilian train runs a set schedule and Russia didnt check it before deciding to *try* and bomb a military target.

Again without the Russians this whole thing isnt an issue at all. The Ukrainians were attacking the same people they are now, people armed with Russian equipment who were probably given no choice and just told to fight.

If you buy into your rhetoric the same logic applies to russia and the Donbas rebels. Russia created the issue by arming the rebels, otherwise that fight would have been over quickly if it happens at all, and then we could have also avodied this larger conflict. All because russia didnt like losing the puppet they just paid off to switch sides after the election.

So the women, elderly and children civilians that were killed in the Donbas region were armed rebels?

Right. Again, why are you in here cheering and celebrating their deaths every day?
It is not just EL doing it. It is several others in this thread. It is quite disturbing to see people act like that. But considering this is Volnation I am not surprised.

Or held hostage by the russian occupiers to be human shields.

And I have never said that Ukraine was going out of their way to avoid civilian casaulties, especially amongst the rebels/traitors/terrorists. I have also advocated for quick warfare to avoid civilian involvement as much as possible, unlike some who have cheered the genius of long drawn out conflicts. Maybe you are starting to see why it's a bad idea.

And like I have further said, if it wasnt for Russia they never would have been rebels at all. Or at the very least, armed rebels. Russias military involvement from 2014 onwards is what made this situation as bad as it was.

Remember. The 40 billion we have them was going to bring Russia to its knees. Wonder what the extra 15 billion is going to do according to these Ukrainian trolls and neoliberal propagandists here on this thread.
Nothing. Because they don't exist anywhere outside of your head and on your Russian Internet Troll 101 Guidebook.

Another bad day for Ukraine.

Russia continues to move toward Nikolaev as it has for the last few days. I guess they got tired of waiting for that big Ukrainian counter on Kherson.

Ukraine did try and mount a counter near Bakhmut that ended in total defeat for Ukraine (with high casualties), as usual.

Day after day reports of Ukrainians blowing up Russians with Western artillery, Russians blowing up Russians with various weapons, Ukrainian military and saboteurs blowing up Russian bases and depots. And Larry still carrying that tasty Pootin propaganda water. 😂

Guess that story about blowing up Russian equipment on this bridge wasnt true after all....shocker

Oh wow those Russians are so damn good at roadway repair you can’t even see the repairs of huge holes blown clear thru the roadway we saw all those pictures of. That short video is absolutely legit Larry 🤡
