Team Putin Begs Rich Russians to Help Save His Failing War

“An issue that is no less important than others is how well these people will be armed and equipped... They should receive modern uniforms, modern gear, rations, medical kits, items having to do with support and logistics, modern weapons… It’s just inappropriate.”

Those fortunate enough not to face mobilization should contribute in other ways, declared military expert Igor Korotchenko during his appearance on the show.

“It’s extremely important that our new military divisions that are being formed today receive necessary equipment and weapons,” he stressed. “Since we’re talking about the future of our nation, there has to be the consolidation of all available resources. We should create a fund of support for the special military operation. Our socially responsible prominent oligarchy should share their profits, so that our fighters on the front lines can be properly armed and equipped.”

Korotchenko went on: “Everyone should play their part. We can’t have it that some will luxuriate in Rublyovka [a prestigious residential area in the western suburbs of Moscow], while others are defending the Motherland. Those who are fattened up in the economic sense need to share their resources so that we can supply our troops with everything that is needed.”

It appears that the Russian elite however—including many top pro-Kremlin propagandists—would much rather cheer from the sidelines than join Russia’s brutal and bloody imperial endeavor. Host of 60 Minutes Evgeny Popov pondered on-air whether he was subject to mobilization, with an expression devoid of any signs he was feeling particularly lucky.

I haven’t posted in here in a long time so I haven’t kept up with what’s been posted. Has it become commonplace to not actually discuss what’s going on?

I’m saying it’s not that they wanted to leave, it’s that they thought of it as Russia already.

Gotacha.

On another note, its all a done deal anyway.

Russian Nukes Can Be Used To Defend Annexed Ukraine Regions, Kremlin Warns

Once again Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, has served the role of issuing more severe 'read between the lines' warnings and threats fresh off President Vladimir Putin's Wednesday speech announcing partial mobilization of national forces and which confirmed referendums of occupied portions of Ukraine to join the Russian Federation.
Putin's most alarming line came when he said, "If the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, we will certainly use all the means at our disposal to protect Russia and our people," following with "It’s not a bluff." He had also stressed Moscow is ready to use "all available" means to protect its "territorial integrity".
Medvedev has taken the president's words further in Thursday statements, stressing that regarding Russian-seized territory and the move to vote in several areas - including the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions - "there is no going back" and that even a 'nuclear option' could be on the table.

LMAO. Give me specific examples of US troops on the ground in Ukraine engaged in combat… from your experience.
I mean, if you think that a war starts when people in camo uniforms walk onto a certain plot of land, then you don’t understand war at all. I don’t believe that you believe that though. I’m referring to the political and cultural subversion that began in 2004 called the Orange Revolution (see color revolutions), influenced by NGO’s like NED. When I was there in 2011 the EU was building soccer stadiums for Euro2012 to influence Ukraine to drop their oil deal with Russia. I also saw the new US embassy (which is the largest building in Ukraine) being built, which is where Victoria Nuland directed the installation of Yatzenyuk. This all culminated in open conflict that has seen the Kiev government shelling eastern Ukraine, killing 14000 civilians over the past eight years. Also I’m not going to LMAO at what you say because it isn’t an argument, and it’s a pathetic way of having a discussion.

Why was the Ukrainian government shelling eastern Ukraine?
