War in Ukraine

Gotta get all the nuts out of the Russian hierarchy, of which there are many.
Regardless of what happens in this war, nobody who matters is seriously going to advocate scrapping the worlds greatest defense alliance. It’s a fringe position, and with good reason. Pretty much every political movement in favor of it is unsurprisingly pro-Russian.

Israeli intelligence firm @ImageSatIntl has detected an “irregular presence” of Russian TU-160 & TU-95 strategic bombers deployed to Olenya Airbase. The base, on the Kola Peninsula, houses a significant number of military hardware, including tactical & strategic nuclear weapons

It’s going to be amazing how many people blame us for Russia dropping nukes (if they actually do it).

Absent the Russian threat, what's the need for it?

You clowns should be kept awake at night knowing clowns like Joe Biden (or the people running the show behind him) and Elizabeth Truss have access to nukes. Putin would be the most sane individual if he were a NATO member. You guys are clowns.
You have made some decent points in the past but this is idiocy. I'm no Biden supporter and won't carry water for him but this statement is sheer lunacy.

Looks like the US is robbing Syria.

I'm not sure what your point is. Again, look at each situation on a case-by-case basis. But since you brought up Syria, the Americans are clearly the invaders and the Russians, Iranians and Hezbollah are the liberators.
Okay, what are your thoughts of China now being in Afghanistan? Building mines to strip their ground?

Killing those who hate us anytime, anywhere. We're the big dogs on the porch.

Exactly, evil. LoL

I will say we do not Annex land from other countries to make it part of ours in modern times. Russia still does. They just did it and will do it again.

Sure it does, see Syria. LoL You can call it anything you want.

Commerce.

The United States invaded, wasted taxpayer money of about $2t, installed a puppet regime, got thousands of people killed and injured, and than left supposed "friends" behind. In the meantime, they left the supposed enemy with billions of arms. LoL

All those stupid American troops died for no ****ing reason other than to make greedy white people more money... rinse and repeat.

Is any of this really new to you? People need to stop with all this... its quite strange we are even talking about this.

Why is the United States involved in any of this?

I doubt Russia is going to crumble. It’s going to take a lot of time and trust building before anyone feels safe, especially in Eastern Europe. And anyways, it’s good to have powerful allies.
No, the hypothetical is if somehow Russia did revert to the liberalizing, 1990s Russia, then there's no collective threat to the NATO countries.

You have to admit, anybody would, no matter how stupid, that the European countries did somehow stop killing each other after 1000's of years of doing so. You have to admit that. You have to consider that nobody has used an atomic weapon since 1945, and nobody has ever used a fusion weapon at all. You have to admit that. And it was the USA, mostly, that held NATO together and kept everybody interested. I don't really know if NATO would really fight a war against anybody. They haven't needed to. Everybody is afraid to find out and with good reason.

Even if I didn't see any reason for it, I wouldn't be saying "I don't see the reason for it" and therefore there's not one. Because I am oh-so-smart. It may well be, honestly, that some of its purposes haven't occurred to you.

On the other hand, I have to admit that I don't understand why Russia wouldn't want to prosper. Putin obviously gets nothing for this; there's no upside to it. As you all know, there's nobody going to invade Russia. That's just dumb. And it does show that paranoia plays a real role in geopolitics. It really does. He's gone around the bend.

I would think that would be what many point to while arguing the need for NATO. We thought we were past this, but we clearly weren't.

I didn’t ask about America guy. Stay on topic. Commerce, eh? How do you think that will end up? If you think any one superpower is better than the other you are mistaken.

No, it's not evil to kill you enemies that want to kill you.

Will we be keeping the land in Syria?

That is not what you said, you said kill people that hate you. Not kill people that would like you dead. If that is the case, you probably would have to put billions in gas chambers.

Yes, it is evil.
