Interestingly, Ukraine and Russia already had a whole lot more women than men even before the war started. In the past, it's been hard to get into Russia without a work visa and I imagine it's even harder now and probably not worth the risk of the US government prosecuting you if a $3 lunch at Uncle Vanya's shows up on your American Express Skymiles card.

Ukraine, on the other hand, has always been wide open, but the best place to meet the best-looking Ukrainian women is the dive bars between the Hyatt and Hilton in Taksim district in Istanbul. A lot of them are very well-spoken ladies fluent in English who are obviously very well-educated but with zero opportunity in their homeland since their nation's wealth gets sucked out to Washington DC, so they have to suck off outside of Ukraine to suck money back in. The best-looking Ukrainian I've ever seen, though, has been a streetwalker in China. That one was pre-Maidan, but all the coup did was swap out a corrupt donkey for an equally corrupt mule.

Due to the war, the gender gap in Ukraine and Russia is growing, particularly in the 18-40 age range, especially in Ukraine since it's losing more men both nominally and especially per capita than the Russians. That being said, I've seen a lot of articles about how wives in the UK and elsewhere are angry because their fat middle-aged husbands are leaving them for Ukrainian pieces of ass in their 20s that moved into their home as refugees. Plus Ukrainian women are saturating Tinder and those sites in Western Europe. Russian women are banned for traveling to most of those countries, so they can't leave their husband on the front line for a much wealthier Jody in Germany or Poland the way Ukrainian women can. The war in Ukraine is perhaps the best thing to ever happen to Ukrainian women and one of the worst things to happen in decades to Ukrainian men, except for the "brave" Comedian and his crew who are becoming fantastically wealthy men.

That's a false internet meme, likely designed to imply a sinister U.S./EU motive to exacerbate food shortage and thus profits. And that Zelinsky is a fascist selling out Ukraine to other fascists.
Foreigners may lease or invest in companies with land holdings, but cannot directly control or own land. Not a grain of truth in Ukrainian farmland claim - Australian Associated Press

I will give AM64 some credit as he doesn't seem to be for this unrealistic "automation utopia" that some people in this forum have. Mostly because they are self centered and think they will benefit from it in some way. It comes from a sense of entitlement and arrogance. The same entitlement and arrogance that they often accuse others of having.

However I went back and read that statement and it did seem he was saying people need to lower their standard of living. So I don't think your comment was out of left field at the time.

We have other problems in this country that need to be fixed. Drug overdose deaths were at an all time high. Cost of living is continuing to rise much higher than it should. Homelessness is increasing. Homicides and crime have increased in many major cities. We have an unsecured border. And instead of trying to fix these problems billions is pumped into this proxy war instead.

There must be credible non-predator sources you can use for your argument, so why go there?

So are you trying to say companies such as Cargill haven't benefited in any way from doing business in Ukraine?

And yes Zelensky is a fascist.
