I thought you were describing American foreign policy in the first paragraph. Then I figured out you were just projecting that onto Russia.

The Russians lost more people in two weeks than the US did in 20 years in Afghanistan. The Ukrainians also lost more people in two weeks than the US did in 20 years in Afghanistan. The difference is either the Russians or the Ukrainians will emerge victorious, but the US military lost in Afghanistan.

It's well-documented Omar was wounded four times as a commander on the front line. I thought it was especially funny when Americans called Omar a coward and he challenged Tony Blair and US military veteran George W. Bush to a two-on-one duel using Kalashnikovs, but Bush and Blair refused to go. Andrew Jackson definitely would've gone and dueled one-on-one, but 21st century Americans aren't cut out of the same cloth as 19th century Americans.

It sounds like you watch RT more than I do, now that Max Keiser's show is no longer on there. At least somebody's still giving RT business. I'm sure Pooty-Poot appreciates your patronage. I'm American, born and raised. But I live in only first world countries with no BLM flash mobs, and where tax money goes toward building local infrastructure, not destroying foreign infrastructure at the expense of the local infrastructure. I might return to the US for Hanukkah, New Year's, and the bowl games, and each time I go there, the USA is noticeably more run down with more tent cities than the time before, with downtown Knoxville being one of the rare areas in the US which is actually nicer than in past decades. There was already a lot of homeless people in that area, spilling over from Broadway, but Market Square in particular is a lot nicer. But the USA in general is decaying, and people living in the USA don't seem to notice and are clearly more concerned with destroying Yemen, Ukraine, Syria, etc. than improving their own lot in life and that of their children.

I watch American propaganda too along with Western European propaganda and Asian propaganda, not just Russian propaganda. I watched the WMD stories on American propaganda outlets leading up to the war in Iraq and I hear and especially read American propaganda regarding Ukraine too. But I take the American propaganda regarding Ukraine with a huge grain of salt the same way I didn't drink the Kool Aid regarding Iraq 20 years ago. I didn't wear a yellow ribbon in 2003 and I don't fly a Ukraine flag emoji in 2022. People who do that are Kool Aid drinkers who get other people killed.

I was in line at the Super Wal-Mart in Gallatin when the lady in front of me looked at me nervously a couple of times before asking me, "Should you be wearing that?" I didn't know what she meant at first. I thought maybe she meant that my jeans were too tight in a Robert Plant sort of way. I joked, "Why? Should I take them off?" The U.S. military crushed the Taliban and it wasn't even close. The defeated Taliban ran away while we spent trillions building schools and forming a government. Stupid 1940's style American thinking.

I have news for you though; if we had a small force over there still then the Taliban wouldn't have been able to just walk back into where ever they wanted to with out opposition. We'd still be there after close to a generation and still have our "victory". They had no way to defeat the U.S. military, so they had no choice but to sit, sulk, and wait for us to get tired of hanging out in their God forsaken country after we had beaten them.
