We do compete economically with them I just struggle to see that as aligning with any kind of adversary role.

No we won’t wind up in a shooting war with any EU country. Not in our lifetimes anyway.

I do get it and yes I think we should be assisting Ukraine but it should be through intelligence and selling arms to the other European countries which they could give to the Ukrainians. My personal belief is that the vast majority of aid we are providing is just a money laundering scheme enriching a select few around the world and in our own country.

I dont honestly mind China being an exporter of arms. Russias quality control apparently is non existent outside one or two well made rifles. China's QC is laughable. Their exports will kill more of the people who buy them than the people they were intended to be used against.

Now wait... what? Our economic enemy? Really?

I've never heard that thrown out before. What in the world have the Europeans done to deserve to be labeled an enemy? If you say the UK, that may carry more weight, but the Europeans collectively are now considered to be economic enemies? WOW...

These guys are stuck in 1989. Hell, you can make an argument that China isn't a pure communist country and implements more capitalist in its economy than the US or any other Western nation right now. Not saying China is perfect, but the one thing China does well is what the US was great at 40 years ago.

He actually would be justified, using the US's own broad definition of self defense. The US, through sanctions and material support for the terrorists in Ukraine, are a direct threat to Russia. Of course Russia would be idiotic to do it, but they would be justified.

They don't to detonate a nuke to escalate. Do you guys even think before you post? The US/NATO need Russia to use a nuke to get their population behind a western escalation that will likely require boots on the ground as Western boots on the ground is the only thing standing between Russia and victory.
