War in Ukraine

Its the typical issue with conspiracy theorists. Because one part is true that means the rest of it is true. And if you arent as fervent in your buy in of the whole thing as they are you are a puppet/sheep/stooge, whatever.

It's why I got away from the conspiracy theorists. It was nice as a thought, as a true alternative to the bs. But in reality it's just someone else's bs, and they are even less accepting of disagreement than the MSM.
Legit..how many actual conspiracies have ever been true?
(not many)

Well they did burn Russia down as they retreated, so they had a hand in those failed logistics. And if there was no or a negligible adversary, the Russians, it wouldnt matter if Napeleon was taking attrition there would have been no one to take advantage. Which is a typical military strategy.

We waited to have D Day till the 6th because of bad weather. Napoleon himself used known flooding patterns in both Egypt and one of the German states to protect his flank.

Oh yes. If there is anything the russian military is traditionally good at, it is destroying civilian infrastructure. They also excel at murdering civilians and other noncombatants.:mad:

Look at all the happy people celebrating and rejoining the world after they survived their “liberators” Moe!

'We survived': Kherson comes alive after Russian withdrawal

Despite the hardships, residents are expressing a mix of relief, optimism, and even joy — not least because of their regained freedom to express themselves at all.

“Even breathing became easier. Everything is different now,” said Olena Smoliana, a pharmacist whose eyes shone with happiness as she recalled the day Ukrainian soldiers entered the city

The *short* list of Russian **** ups:
  1. Electing Putin to begin with
  2. No emphasis on NCOs for expertise
  3. No empowerment of junior officers and NCOs to make decisions
  4. Viewing competent officers as a threat to be eliminated
  5. Abusive treatment of soldiers
  6. Culture of grift in the military
  7. Allowing Oligarchs to not deliver purchased equipment
  8. Not performing proper maintenance on stored equipment (all the Tanks they were supposed to have)
  9. Unwillingness to equip soldiers with expensive equipment (night vision, etc) due to grift
  10. Poor and insufficient training
  11. Expected Ukrainian Leadership to fold quickly
  12. Expected the Ukrainian people to welcome the Russian invasion
  13. Believed pre-war bribes to be working (they only seemed to work in Kherson and a few other places)
  14. Did not ready proper 3:1 troop ratio for a successful offensive
  15. Did not ready nearly enough soldiers to occupy a hostile nation
  16. Only planned for immediate Ukrainian surrender or 3 day campaign
  17. Attacked in too many directions at once
  18. Overly reliant upon rail supply
  19. Did not secure critical rail junctions early (such as Kharkiv)
  20. Did not properly secure supply lines
  21. Grossly overextended supply lines in Northern Ukraine
  22. Dug into the ground and other stupid activities around Chernobyl
  23. Failed to properly scout out all Ukrainian air defense
  24. Failed to target enough of Ukrainian air defense
  25. Fail to persist with targeting Ukrainian air defense until it was suppressed.
  26. Did not properly support paratrooper or air-mobile assault.
  27. And then repeated the same poor paratrooper or air-mobile assaults again and again and again.
  28. No effective combined arms.
  29. Tanks used without infantry cover.
  30. No training of proper response to an ambush
  31. Use of long columns of vehicles in areas of likely enemy activity
  32. Large concentrations of vehicles in the open making a target rich environment
  33. Poor accuracy artillery
  34. Targeting of civilian targets instead of military targets. (both artillery and missiles)
  35. Poor scouting (reports of Russian “recon” using loud groups of 20-30 soldiers)
  36. Poor perimeter defense
  37. Unable to coordinate a large number of forces at once
  38. Persist with small ineffective attacks
  39. Many targets of attacks have no obvious strategic value
  40. Smoking
  41. No (or little) use of pallets and forklifts
  42. Improperly equipping soldiers
  43. Not providing food for soldiers
  44. Waiting way too long to mobilize
  45. No training at all for recently mobilized troops
  46. Designed communication system that needed cell towers
  47. Destroyed Ukrainian cell towers their system needed
  48. Did not retreat from Kherson when it was clear supply lines could be cut
  49. Instead, they sent more troops into Kherson to further strain supplies
  50. Continue to hold out in Crimea and southern Ukraine even though supply routes are poor
  51. Failure to plan defense in depth resulting in sudden collapse of lines near Kharkiv
  52. Persisted in keeping large amounts of troops in Izyum despite no progress there
  53. Repeatedly tried to cross a river at the same exact spot even after suffering massive losses on previous attempts
  54. Prioritizing looting instead of retreating with military equipment
  55. Attempting to hold Snake Island when it’s within artillery range of the Mainland
  56. Not having a unified military command structure in the theater of war [highonthehill]
  57. Openly giving preference to private mercenaries over own military [highonthehill]
  58. Failing to provide winter uniforms to mobiks being send the war in the winter [highonthehill]

Oh I'm sure there's much more I could have added. But it's really hard to keep up with the pearl clutching of these clowns at this point.
Trailer park of the world really touched a nerve didnt it? Track suits and vodka 4 Life right comrade?

There is a reason constantly retreating Russians are stealing refrigerators and washing machines from Ukrainian homes...

Pretty spot on synopsis on Russians disastrous military failure in Ukraine. There efforts will be studied for decades if not longer for exactly what NOT to do.

Yet if they had to go to war again in 10 years they would just do the same crap over again. It's what they do, they never seem to learn. They just aren't good at fighting wars.

Eh it's probably like our leadership never learning about nation building
The lessons are there, but they are ignored due to special interests. It doesnt hurt the guys up too, so why would it change?

There have been some very successful examples of nation building… when we didn’t have to establish the concept of said nation in the first place.

From 50 is years ago? When have we done it recently?

Seems like our leaders have learned how to profit. Not how to nation build better.
