So help me make sense of this... Russia's mercenaries, not its regular army, is simply Pyrrhic victory it's way to advances in Donetsk right now and on the brink of capturing the unimportant town of Bakhmut, which was so trivial that Zelensky himself (allegedly) went to this frontline city and got a Ukrainian flag signed by the soldiers there and had Kamala and Pelosi waving it in front of Congress.

This is the narrative you want to have me believe?

The leadership is so afraid of Prigozhin that Putin invited him to a meeting in St. Petersburg a couple of days ago.

Why should they? Their economy is showing to be resilient in spite of Western sanctions, he's not advancing woke or green agenda in Russia, and he is leading in an existential conflict with The West that they had been afraid for the past 30 years.

I've told them in here several times that the political party United Russia, which Putin belongs to has over 70% approval of the country. The two main opposition parties, the LPDR and Communist Party, are actually more right wing than United Russia.

He went there because that’s where his troops were fighting Moe. We’ve told you that multiple times. That doesn’t add any importance to Bakhmut strategically nor does it validate Russia’s idiocy at wasting so many resources on a meaningless town.
