This war is like classroom on the future of warfare. These guys are conjuring up this stuff on the fly. Imagine how long and what the cost would have been if we'd built similar things using our traditional military procurement system. It's worth every penny we are spending for the price of admission to learn what our troops will face in the future and hopefully developing a means to protect them.

Damn Ras, we haven't unleashed our full military on anyone since 1945. Ukraine is at worst standing toe to toe with Russia using our mostly outdated and leftover hardware. What do you think would happen if we started delivering real weapons?

And common sense should tell you the $800B you speak of has probably bought weapons and technology that few people even know exists.

You really can’t pump enough resources into the cauldron to defeat Russia long term unfortunately. The Swedes, the French, and the Germans all tried. All failed in the end. Russia is just too big and the reserves of manpower are just too deep. And the Russians just don’t care how much suffering their population has to endure or how many sons the Rondina must sacrifice or how much blood they have to waste. It may be a meme but it is true….

Here is my peace treaty. This is what I would offer.

Moldavia has devolved their gov out of necessity. They are pro Ukraine. Join Moldavia with Ukraine. It's almost the size Ukraine has lost. In return you hand over putler to the Hague and keep what you got.

Prehistoric civilization but with enough nukes to make the world glow for centuries unfortunately. We had a chance to lead Russia into the civilized world starting with Yeltsin. But we sat by and missed the opportunity as Putin consolidated power. Bush 41 and Clinton let the chance evaporate on the wind
