War in Ukraine

the Kaiser also benefited from previous German grievances and economic struggles. Now I wouldnt say it was handed to Wilhem 2, when he was born there was no German Empire, it was just Prussia. His dad and Otto Von Bismark are mostly responsible for the unification of Germany, Wilhem 2 was still a capable statesman, and considering Bismark died 2 years into Wilhems 2 reign it's hard to say Wilhem was dependent on others within his nation.

I am not necessarily arguing Putin is closer to one or the other. Just that I wouldnt jump to Hitler, it has been Hitler literally one time in our entire human history. His is the "sexy" bad guy name used to create support against him. But it's the same fallacy the Russians call the West and Ukraine Nazis.
Fair enough. On a side note, Otto Von Bismarck is one of my favorite historical figures.

What kind of American would do something like that?

Halliburton gained $39.5 billion in federal contracts related to the Iraq war. Dick Cheney served as Halliburton's CEO from 1995 until 2000 and departed with over a million shares of Halliburton stock.

I couldn’t find anything recently stating whether or not he sold all of his shares since leaving Haliburton. Regardless, it’s just a horrible look and reeks of cronyism. Cheney and Rumsfeld got what they wanted, though. What a waste of time, money and more importantly, lives.

That'll keep Putin At Bay: USAF goes on Woke Hiring Spree that'll see Multiple Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Managers hired for up to $180,000 a year

  • The recruitment drive, as the country faces growing threats from hostile states like China and Russia, aims to achieve the Air Force's 'inclusion mission'
The US Air Force is hiring a team of diversity, equity and inclusion managers on salaries of up to $180,000 per year.

As the United States faces growing threats from China and Russia - highlighted by the downing of an American drone by Moscow forces yesterday - Air Force chiefs are creating plum jobs to achieve their 'inclusion mission' at home.

One senior role at the Pentagon, advertised earlier this month, pays up to $183,500 per year. The 'supervisory diversity equity inclusion and accessibility officer' will be responsible for making top-level decisions about the Air Force's diversity policies.

Critics of the diversity push say the strength of America's military during a time of heightened international tensions 'is being threatened by a left-wing woke agenda' and called the agenda 'disturbing'.

Applicants will work under the Air Force's director of diversity and inclusion, Marianne P. Malizia, whose remit is 'ensuring a culture of inclusion'

it's probably best we don't enter that war, we'll lose. we no longer have what it takes as a military might. I'd say the communists have succeeded in bringing down America without firing a shot.

It's a good deal more than 1%, however even 1% is problematic.
Link to anything showing all of this Nazi support? Like actual overall numbers? Because when I have actually pulled the numbers in the past it was a really low number, and you always just go "nu-uh" and deflect. So please show your work.

There were what, roughly 300k compromising the Ukrainian military at the start of the war? You think there are 3k or less in that group that are Nazi sympathizers? Did the media go out of their way to only show the Nazi sympathizers in pictures and videos over the last year because it isn't hard to find. Either that or you are wrong.

It looks like the first aircraft transfers are indeed happening. Poland announced in the coming days they will send 4 MiG-29s and Slovakia has also pledged to send the 12 MiG-29AS they retired in August as well. Those particular models were upgraded in 2008 to be NATO compatible.

I wasnt really expecting to see this, and didnt know what to expect if I did, but this seems pretty straight forward. A longer video would have been better to show the context, but what happened is pretty clear.
Yeah it is. The Russian pilots are incompetent morons and anymore US aircraft operating in the region should have fighter escort.

So much support that they only manager two seats in the Rada.

So no you dont have any hard numbers?

And since when did the military comprise the whole of Ukraine? The largest I have seen claimed for the Azob Battalion is 26k, but when they were surrounded in that plant early in the war the Russians claimed it was like 90% of the total Azobs were stuck there and that's why it was taking so long to kill them all, and it turned out to be 2,600 troops.

So again, if you want to make this claim, and they are some big proportion it should be easy to find some number that can back you up.

And of course they are easy to find. They are Nazi aholes, that stuff tends to stand out. They are also a irregular force, that would stand out against the backdrop of a much more uniform Ukrainian military regardless of any Nazi affiliation.

Look out though I think they changed another street name, you better round up your BLM crew to go protest a name.

For anybody wondering about the slow propellor rpm no the engine isnt running that slow that’s an artifact of digital video sampling. You see the beat frequency of the video sample rate with the aliased propellor rpm. First time I saw this on a flight test about 30 years ago it really freaked me out since I was on the test aircraft.

The slow rpm artifact clearly shows bent propellor blades after the second pass too. Yeah they ran over the Reaper.

For those of you who dont speak nerd, the propellers were moving too fast for the camera to catch ALL of their movement, so what comes through looks choppy.

What I didnt see explained is whether this was on purpose to show the damage, or if all their camera/video have that limitation.

Would we (or Ukraine) provide fighter escort as SOP for MQ9 drone operations?
I don’t know honestly I don’t have access to that kind of information. Our UAVs routinely operate in international airspace near airspace that is hostile to us and I can think of only twice in recent memory where this has occurred. The RQ-4 downing by Iran and this instance bt Russia. And there’s no doubt in my mind there were fighters close by on the RQ-4.

“Fighter escort” is probably the wrong term. Combat Air Patrol would be more accurate. The MQ-9 flys too slow for fighters to fly formation with it.
